  1. Got the above hotel this week. Decent place that was clean. Had free internet and parking. Also had an indoor pool.
  2. Just noted this question, 2 years after :), but it was indeed 2007. Checked HOTWIRE and it didn't list the amenities anymore.
  3. Started at $115 with MTE and EPS, bump it up to $120 adding MTW, bumped it up to $125 adding TS and got it at $125 :)
  4. This may sound like a newbie question, but when you are bidding in the method above is it: select 3*TS, bid $95, if rejected add MTW, bid $100, if rejected close browser, open link, select 3* MSG, bid $95, if rejected add ESB, bid $100, if rejected, end of today's bidding. Start again the next day with MSG and TW as noted above? I'm in a similar situation and have the following: MTE, MTW, TS, MSG, ESB, and Soho. Sorry to semi-hijack, but I figured I'd post here since it's so similar. Thanks.
  5. 3.5* Vancouver (Downtown) Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites, $60USD 6/22/09-6/26/09 Started bidding at $35 going up by $5 each time. Eventually go the coast plaza at $60. Previous postings showed people were getting the 3* or 3.5* for cheap ($30ish range), but I guess in June the price jumps up quite a bit. Good reviews for the hotel, but the parking is $19/night!!!
  6. Got the Dalton Hotel and Suites for $47USD for two nights from 6/20/09 to 6/22/09. Amenities list is Smoke-free rooms, complimentary breakfast, restaurants, high-speed internet access. I was actually checking out this hotel previously since travelzoo had a deal for $69CDN/night. I then checked out hotwire and saw that it suddenly listed a 2.5* hotel (where as previous weeks it didn't have any for the downtown area). I figured it was the same one and it was. Ended up saving $25 CDN. Not much but better than nothing. Reviews for this hotels are mixed on travel advisor. Decided to cheap out this time around and try it out since it is a good 'bang for your buck'. Good location but an old building. My biggest concern is that people report that they have no AC in their room. Hopefully it won't be that hot in June :)
  7. Just entering old wins I got. 4 night stay at the Sheraton for $69/night.
  8. I got this hotel last year, but only just set up an account now. Thought it would be good to enter in all past wins I got. 1 night stay for $64.
  9. Got $150 for a 3 night stay at the Westin Calgary 07/04/2008 - 07/07/2008. This was cheaper than the going rate of a 3* hotel, in addition this is the opening weekend of the Calgary stampede too.
  10. Got $130 on my first bid. I wonder if I could of got it for $120. 5 night stay from 07/08/2008 - 07/13/2008, seems like a pretty good deal to me.
