I do not normally rent cars through Priceline, so I hope I did OK. I looked at Hotwire first and the rate they had published for a full size was 30.95, so I decide to bid $25 and got it on my first try. I think I used the BB link but did so much clicking around to figure out how much to bid it may not have worked.

Booked today for my aunt and uncle visiting from out of town. First Bid was $45 for a 3*. It was rejected and I was offered the chance to rebid for the same star amount and same area without making any changes if I increased my bid by at least $10. I chose to add the 2.5* and keep my bid amount at $45. I got the Wingate which had an online rate of $89. We have stayed at this location before and really like their clean updated rooms and free breakfast. I used the BB PRICELINE link.

I used the PRICELINE link on the BB site, first time to attempt bidding was today. Bids 1 - USE 4* - $80 2 - added USW-NobHill - $85 3 - added Civic Center - $90 4 - added Fisherman's Wharf - $95 Accepted! I booked this for two family members who are very happy with the results. Reviews are mixed on tripadvisor, but many of those are Hilton Honors members not satisfied with the upgrades they did not get. My family will just be happy in a clean hotel in a good location.

Because our family Christmas get together was changed to a morning event we could not make this a one day trip. We were looking for something decent and cheap for a quick night's stay. Very pleased as usual with our PRICELINE deal. I was all set with 3 areas we would have stayed in and my list of free re-bid zones. I got a room on my very first bid, all the other info was not needed. $45 for a 3 star in the Inverness zone. The rate on the Marriott website is $89. 2 rooms, 2 nights 10/09 - 10/11 2.5* La Quinta Inn & Suite Greenville Haywood 65 W. Orchard Park Drive Ammenities - Airport Shuttle, Comp Breakfast, Fitness, Pool, Laundry, High Speed Internet There were no 2.5* hotels on the betterbidding list so I just took a risk. Really just needed the inexpensive rooms booked fast. Cheapest rate on their website is $79. Best part is that the La Quinta is only 4 miles from event. Booked through the HOTWIRE link. Thanks!

My first post on this board, but I am a long time HOTWIRE and PRICELINE user. I am happy to have discovered such a friendly message board. :) Amenities were Shuttle, Pool, Business Center, Internet, Fitness, Restaurant, Laundry It was exactly what I was expecting to get based on your Hotwire List. I tried bidding on Priceline first for 3* PIT at $45, added Downtown at $55, then had two free rebid zones at 60 and 65. Continued to be declined, so I went back to Hotwire and snatched the $66 deal. I used the betterbidding PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links. :)
