  1. I used the PRICELINE link and won the 3.5* Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel for $79/night for 2 nights plus $33.22 Taxes & Fees (Aug 24-Aug 26). I tried $67, $69, $71 and $75 before the $79 was accepted. The hotel gets good reviews and I was able to reserve a crib for my daughter without any issues so I'm very happy with this win. Thanks Betterbidding! :) Danie
  2. Hello, I wasn't sure where to post this but I wanted to post that I used the Travelocity link to purchase a vacation package to Clearwater. The deal was very good and I wanted to share it. Mar 8-13 2 Adults, 2 Seniors flying non-stop, roundtrip from Detroit to Tampa 2brm suite at Celebrity Resorts Indian Shores Minivan rental Total $2148.36 incl all taxes and fees ($537.09/person!!) I love this site and am always glad to use it to book our trips. Thanks once again, Danie
  3. Hello, I just wanted to update what happened on this trip...the hotel's systems went down and they double-booked our reservation. I called HOTWIRE and we were put up in another hotel at no cost and we received a HOTWIRE credit for our stay. We ended up staying at Inn On Ferry Street. It was fabulous!!! It was in a more convenient location than our original hotel and they had a free shuttle that drove us wherever we wanted to go within a certain distance from the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and there was a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I was very happy with the speed with which HOTWIRE took care of the problem and with the hotel they put us in.
  4. Hello! I was able to get the Hotel St. Regis on HOTWIRE (using your link of course!) for $68. 5. My max is $100 not including taxes and fees. As we're going to both the hockey and football games staying downtown is definitely a must.
  6. I tried that earlier today but still nothing : ( I guess inventory is low because the Pittsburgh Steelers are in town!
  7. Hello, I seem to be having a hard time finding a hotel in downtown detroit for Oct.10.09 (1 night). I prefer PRICELINE because I can usually get a better deal but I've bid up to my max of $100 for a 3* or better for the last 2 weeks without success so now I'm looking at HOTWIRE. I see one 2* (I'm getting desperate) for $56 but I can't figure out which hotel it is. Any help would be much appriciated! Thanks, Danie
  8. I forgot... $85/night x 3 nights= $255.00 Taxes and fees = $42.77 Total charge= $297.77
  9. So, after a few days of bidding and being rejected (following my original strategy) I was successful...Boston Sheraton (Copley Square) accepted my bid of $85- even though yesterday I had bid up to $90! Thanks again. As always this site has helped me save on my vacation : ) Danie PS. I used your PRICELINE link.

  11. Hi! I went up to $21 but I was still rejected. I ended up booking an economy from Dollar thru Expedia (using the car rental checker) for $140 incl. taxes and fees. Again, thanks for all your help!!!
  12. The $23 rate was from Dollar and Advantage. They are names I know so I am willing to rent from them.
  13. The best rate on the car rental checker is $23 (the same with the retail side of PRICELINE) and on HOTWIRE the best rate was $30.
  14. Hello, This is my first time trying to bid on a car and so far I'm not having any luck. My flight lands at MCO at 11:30pm Feb.25 so I've tried bidding for midnight Feb.26 to 2pm Mar.1. I started at $13.00 and went up to $16.00 (by $1.00) changing car sizes as I went but it was all rejected. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  15. Hello, I just used the PRICELINE link from your website to get the 3* Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Downtown for $55 (Nov.8, 1 night). Thanks! :)
  16. Hello all, I just wanted to say that I was very happy with my stay at the Radisson Fallsview. We had a jr. suite with a huge, clean bathroom (with large jacuzzi tub) and a king size bed. The view was lovely (although not a "fallsview"). It was all very nice. The hotel was in a wonderful location, a five minute walk to restaurants and the Fallsview Casino. Thank you again for all your help! :)
  17. All my bids were rejected for 4* and 3.5* but I did book (using the PRICELINE link from this site) the 3* Radisson Hotel And Suites Fallview for $85. I've read the reviews and they seem good so I'm looking forward to it. Thanks so much for all your help!
  18. We'd like to stay in a 4* close to the falls within our budget and if that's not possible try a 3.5. It will be for 2 adults but only 1 bed is needed.
  19. Hi, Thanks for your quick response. We're hoping to stay at a nice hotel whether it be a 4* or 3.5*, perferably closer to the falls as opposed to the Lundy's Lane area. Is that the kind of info you need? I'm not too familiar with your site. I just looked on the Priceline hotel listings and didn't find too many for Niagara Falls. Where can I find the area you mentioned in your last post? Thanks again for your help!
  20. Hello, I'm looking for a little last minute help finding a hotel in Niagara Falls. We're going Oct. 25 for one night. We'd prefere to stay in a 3.5* or 4* and our budget is $120. I was thinking of Priceline since I usually get better deals but I don't see a lot of history for this city. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance!
  21. So, I bid $75.00 and it was accepted. I'll be staying at the William Omni Penn. I've read the review and I'm looking forward to my stay. Thanks!
  22. Hello, I was wondering in you could give me some bidding advice for PRICELINE. We are going to Pittsburgh, PA Aug. 31-Sept.1 and I was wondering what was a good place to start bidding for a 4* hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. I appreciate any help you can give me, Thanks.
  23. So, for Chicago we decided that the Drake deal from HOTWIRE was too good to pass up...so we got the 4* Drake for $99/night (the amenity symbols were fitness centre, Restaurants, business centre and hi-speed internet. For Cleveland we decided to take a risk on PRICELINE. My boyfriend had a hard time navigating the site but I just used the link from your website and I had no problems. We booked the 4* Renaissance Downtown Cleveland for $79/night! I've heard mixed reviews about this hotel but I'm hopeful : ) Thank you for all your help and tips. I won't plan a trip without this website again!!!
