This was a tough bid.

Since there is only one zone in Kauai I had to rebid every 24 hours for 3 days.

Started at $130, priceline said add $22 and it's in the bag - did this and then told inventory changed and I got nothing.

Next day tried $155, told increase by $25 and it's in the bag - did this and then told inventory changed and I got nothing.

Finally tried $190 today and much to my surprise got Sheraton Kauai Resort - which I guess you need to add to your hotel list!!

First bid $150, asked to increase by $25, increased to $175 accepted.

Bid $130 accepted 1st try.

Initial bid of $55 accepted by Hyatt Regency O'Hare, total $134USD.

Did this bid several weeks ago & forgot to post.

Started low below $100 trying to get Mayfair. Seemed like I would have to go up close to $180 to get that zone so started bidding again lower with Kensington included, thinking I might get the Hilton Olympia where I have stayed before. Kept up going up by $5 increments daily until got this one. Kinda surprised. Reviews indicate it is not that great but for the price, I can't exactly complain!

First bid of $50 rejected, PRICELINE offered to accept if increased to $64 = 82 with taxes.

I understand this hotel is not the best to be at to access the free buses to Heathrow but since we were going to cab it anyway, I took the chance!

Started with Midtown East at $120, added MTW, up to $130, added Times Square, going up by $10, then added all other zones that do not have 4*, finally added DSF and ended up at $180 and got Millenium Hilton.

Just FYI, the construction at Ground Zero may be influencing the lower price of this hotel & you should not include this zone if you don't want to deal with this. See recent Tripadvisor review videos for more info....
