San Francisco hotels for this year's Independence Day weekend are much higher compared to 2009-2011, probably due to a better economy and more people visiting San Francisco.
I used PRICELINE link. I figured this was the Omni.

Just like my previous win. Booked through priceline express and used the PRICELINE link. Applied 5% Holiday coupon code. Happy to get the same hotel.
Booked through PRICELINE EXPRESS. I applied Holiday coupon code for 5% discount. I used the PRICELINE link.
Nice hotel in a great location. Based on my research, I was sure I would most likely get the Marriott Pinnacle or Renaissance Harbourside.
Last update: I just booked the Intercontinental Chicago, 4.5* hotel, through Priceline Express for $126. I used FALL5 coupon for a 5% discount. Rate on the hotel website is $224. I have stayed here before and look forward to another stay.

I used the PRICELINE link of course.
Update: I booked the Allerton Hotel at $137 through Hotels.com and I used a 12% discount coupon code. I used the Hotels.com link on the Support Page to book. Including taxes, my total is $318 which is slightly more than the original HOTWIRE hotel. The reservation can be cancelled before Oct. 8 so I'll check periodically if any better deals come up.
Unfortunately, the hotel disappeared when I tried to book. Will keep watching in the next few weeks. Hoping for another deal. Thanks for your help.

Looking at the hotel list, I'd guess this is the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront. Anyone agree?
Starting bid: $75, and got a counter offer for $97
I used a 5% discount coupon, and saved $8.4
Of course, I used the PRICELINE link.
Got it on the first bid. I used the PRICELINE link. Regular rate is $99. I hope to get a nonsmoking room.
Demand in Seattle is higher in the summer months, so hotel rates will be higher.
Thanks. It is the Grand Hyatt. The price changed to $128. Amenities are the same as the first post. I used the HOTWIRE link to book.

Any ideas on what this hotel may be? From the hotel list, I'm thinking it's a new amenity set for either the Grand Hyatt or Hyatt at Olive 8
Booked via Priceline's express deals so no bidding.

I am attending a conference at this hotel so very happy to get a room at the Hilton for less than the conference rate, saving $56 total. Based on my research, I figured the Hilton and Doubletree (close to the Hilton) were the most likely hotels, with the Embassy Suites a less likely possibility. I figured the Crowne Plaza was not possible because its guest score is below 7.0.
I used the PRICELINE link of course.
I used the HOTWIRE link to book. I have stayed at the Omni Berkshire before and loved it. I look forward to another stay. Regular rate is $279

I had a similar experience with the W Hotel on Lexington Avenue a year ago. I survived it and wasn't really in the room all that much. Hotel rooms in New York can be extremely small, and with the layout of most New York hotels, some rooms face another building. I'd be wary about using any opaque booking services for any hotel in New York City, since I suspect hotels give the smallest rooms with no views to guests booking via an opaque booking website like HOTWIRE and PRICELINE.
Do you recall what amenities were showing with this express deals listing? Thanks.

I booked through Priceline's Express Deals, so this isn't an actual bid but I thought I'd share it. With a $5 discount, I actually paid $41.
I used the PRICELINE link to purchase.

I used the Priceline link. Got it on the first bid. Based on Priceline Express listing, I figured this would be the hotel. I'm attending a conference at the Holiday Inn Midtown so happy to be a 5 minute drive away and save more than 50% off the conference rate.
