$87 - 10/21/10 to 10/24/10 Started bidding at $70 but rejected until $87.00 Tried yesterday at $85 but declined so decided to try $87 as HOTWIRE is showing $94. Had $5 bonus cash so my total cost was ($82 + tax) = $285.00. HOTWIRE wanted $310.00 Moevenpick wanted $785 (602 euros) :) I stayed here last June and it was very nice. Their ice cream is amazing! Now need to find a room for the 25th. HOTWIRE isn't showing any 4/5 star in city centre/east. I've tried upto $110 on PRICELINE but nothing. Anything special happening on the 25th of Oct?

So you won the Movenpick from the 22nd to the 25th? I'm going to bid soon but was hoping to avoid the Movenpick as they have zero smoking rooms and thought I had a good chance as they've shown 0 availablity Oct 24th for the past two weeks. Edit - my dates are Oct 21st to the 25th and the 24th shows sold out @ Movenpick. If I win does that mean I'll get something other than movenpick?

Started at 3* at 60 and went all the way upto 100 with no luck using the rebid zones. I also tried again without waiting 24 hours and bid again 5-6 times again upto 100 with no luck. Logged out and logged in and typed in 105 for 3.5* and got the marriot riverfront. $220 on the website and I paid $125 after taxes so not bad. Not the best reviews. Needed to stay 3 nights so will try for another hotel for the next 2 nights.

First bid for 12/27. Started at $60. Added Kensington and bid $85 and got Copthorne. Should have rebid @ $75 but oh well. Second bid for 12/26. Started at $55. Added Kensington area and rebid $65. Waited 24 hours and rebid $70. Nothing. Finally 24 hrs later rebid $75 and got Copthorne again. Hopefully we get a decent room. Total comes to $202 including tax for 2 nights. Better than the travellodge deal @ 39 pounds pn = I used the BB PRICELINE link for the 1st bid and don't remember if I used it for the 2nd time :)

4* Toronto Ontario Chose Toronto (downtown) 1st and bid $55 - rejected Added Markham and bid $65 - rejected Added Downtown East and bid $75 and it was accepted. Pretty happy with the deal..maybe could have gotten it for a few dollars less but bidding is exciting :) 2 rooms for 2 nights = $300 + tax/fees Cheapest I found elsewhere was $191 PER room for ONE night. I also used the PRICELINE link. Great website and I thank everyone for letting me know the previous bids/wins and owner/mod for having such a nifty site. Will also be booking one night in Niagara Falls ontario and will let you know how much I pay.
