  1. I'm basically in the same position of trying to dodge the Trump. I'm wondering if I put in an aggressive bid for a 4* at Strip North (trying for Treasure Island) I might potentially get: "We upgraded you to the Trump!" Do you know if that's possible? I'd much rather have TI. The fact that Trump charges the undisclosed "resort fee" to let you check in and is labeled "On Strip" even though it's a 10-15 min, unlit, walk from the Strip is a rip off. Priceline's model is based on trust and fair dealing and that trust quickly fades when they collect money upfront and then don't provide what they originally offered. Trump should be classified as "Near Strip", otherwise it's a lie.
  2. When Priceline rejects your offer, but provides a counter offer, is this usually the lowest price you can expect to get? For the weekend of 3/27-3/29 Priceline has counter offered me $133 for 4* in strip north and $180/night for 5* strip south. Both these offers are higher than I'd like to go, but wondering if it's realistic to get much lower? (I've bid up to $72 and $120 respectively). Thanks!
  3. I got the Caribe Hilton on a first try of $65 for San Juan, "resort property", 7/11/ - 7/16. Very pleased with this result. I'd like to get the Water Club for the Fri & Sat night portion of this vacation (7/16 - 7/18) but my bid of $70 for "Boutique" was rejected. Any bidding advice?
