  1. Ronelle, Just to let you know that you got a good deal on the Sumengen by acting in a timely manner. I would up booking it directly for a 3 night stay at $90.Only upside for me is that it includes airport transport one way. Perhaps we'll bump into each other at the Sumengen. Again, thanks for your help. Brian
  2. Thanks for the info. This hotel is too far out for my liking. Also, not much of a deal, since the rate quoted directly from the hotel is $122 vs $110 on HOTWIRE. Still having no success bidding on PC for a 4 star in Taksim area. Last offer $110 was rejected. Has anyone ever gotten a Taksim area bid accepted at any price?
  3. Yes, the same 11/7-11/13 dates as my Istanbul hotel thread. Amenities are as follows: Hotwire offering 5 star for $112 Aksaray-Laleli-Topkapi area Fitness center Pool Restaurant Self service laundry facilities Spa services High speed internet access. Also, I always access and/or book Priceline and Hotwire through this site.
  4. Hotwire offering 5 star for $112, Aksaray-Laleli-Topkapi area Any ideas what this property might be?
  5. Looking to book a four star hotel, preferably in the Taxzim section. Ronelle has been a big help but moderator has suggested I start a new topic. Made my first PC bid last night for $90 and was rejected. Plan to up the ante tonight.
  6. Tried a $90 PC bid for the Takzim district and was rejected. About to give up and follow your lead to the Sumengen.
  7. Wish I could get that deal, but it's not offered for my dates - Nov 7 thru 13. But I'm quite intrigued with the Hotel Sumengen and am considering booking directly. Only hesitation is the location...I think I'm leaning to the Taxzim area. Is this the area you've been selecting on PRICELINE? Also, can you explain the "additional $6 bonus?" Thanks for the emails yesterday. Very helpful.
  8. Going to London 11/6. Has anyone gotten a priceline bid accepted from the Copthorne Tara this year?
  9. My bid through Priceline(via Better Bidding) for a 4 star hotel in Kensington-Earl's Court-Knightsbridge was accepted. Hotel is the Copthorne Tara where I stayed before and was hoping to get again. Thanks Better Bidding. Dates are February 16th thru 22nd.
  10. Was just about to book this when I read your post. Do you consider it a good buy for $56> Are the rooms a decent size or standard London closet sized? How far away is the tube?
  11. Over the past 10 days have made several bids for a Downtown Montreal 4 star...$75, $77, $80, $83, all rejected. Finally saw another poster get a bite at $85 at Le Centre Sheraton (the hotel I was hoping for) so I jumped right in and made a successful bid of $85. Accessed PRICELINE thru the link on this site.
