This hotel was fantastic. It was extremely clean, well maintained, and very comfortable.

Just needed a quick place for 7 hours. The amenities listed on the Mainstay website are actually greater than whats listed on hotwire. Thankful it's not the Best Western. Used the PRICELINE link at the top. Apparently Im not in the corner, and there is one more room next to mine. The walls are thin. I can hear their toilet flush....and they are VERY loud people. Still, all in all, can't complain for $34. BTW, I don't think this hotel is listed yet.

Started bidding at $30 for 12/17-12/22. Started with 3*, went down to 2.5* then 2*. Nothing. Changed dates and upped to $34 and 3*, then add 2.5* Ended up with Holiday Inn Express Polynesian Blvd. Kissimmee. Not sure how Kissimmee fits into Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney area, but ok... The hotel is clean, has free breakfast, free wireless in the room, micro, and fridge. I'm in a king room. The bed isn't fabulous, but it'll do. There is also a nice, large desk in the room, and although I'm in a corner room, I have plenty of space. Oh, I'm roughly 3.5 miles from Downtown Disney, next door to Wal Mart, and Polynesian Blvd. is off of Apopka Vineland.

Beachside resort Hotel Ammenities: Restaurant, Pool, across from beach 2* 59.00/night total:71.57 I believe this hotel used to be an Econo Lodge, but I'm not certain. It's located 2 miles from The Hangout towards the west end.

There will be a total of 6~2 adults and 4 children. I would prefer a suite, but haven't found anything to accomodate all 6~max was 5. I'm searching w/ 1 adult. 2 children in each room.

Thanks for the tip. I did another search, and what I forgot to mention is that I am searching for 2 rooms. The offer you mentioned isn't showing up for me. My biggest (and really only) concern with booking outside of the quarter is that we want the hotel to be in walking distance. I'm trying to map the hotels w/ my mapping program, but it's still somewhat difficult. If we stay in the downtown zone, is it a reasonable walking distance to the quarter? TLA, Wendi

The dates are Oct 10- Oct 13, 2008 Thank you I looked at the list again, as well as another thread, and am guessing Holiday Inn French Quarter or Holiday Inn Chateau LeMoyne. Wondering if anyone has another guess.

Sorry... The dates for the above win were May 3, 2008~May 4, 2008 This hotel was clean and fine for a night. The room was VERY small, but it was a quick little romantic/fun night. It was a little farther down the hwy than I really wanted, but the price was right, so really, I cant complain! I'd stay there again for a night or two.

Just got accepted w/ a price of $72 for Extended Stay America in Destin, FL.
