You were spot on. It was Wingate Inn by Wyndham. Enjoyed our stay although I ended up paying 88 + tax as I waited for the last minute. Hotel was v. nice for the price and very close to the Staybridge - hence I'd say it's a toss-up as to what you will get. No pool at the Wyndam which means less kids. Thanks again.

Thanks - will update once I decide. Wingate or Staybridge should work, but I may play with dates to see if I can get a better rate, esp. since there is some doubt as to the exact proeprty.

Also I was trying to place a bid on Embassy Suites Hotel Birmingham (2300 Woodcrest Place Birmingham, AL 35209), but it seemed to be a fixed price at 118. How do I place a bid on this proeprty. Was following this thread and wanted to clarify. You booked on Hotwire for 4* in HHI and it turned out to be the Westin? Or was this via Priceline. That's an awesome deal. Stayed there about 9 years ago and really enjoyed it.

Well, thanks to this Hotwire Orlando I-Drive North post and this site, I was able to confirm that this is indeed the Hyatt Place Orlando/Univ. and have booked for the same. Amenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness Center, and HIgh Speed Internet.
