  1. Amenities Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Kitchenette Spa Services Any idea which hotel this is? Thanks in advance.
  2. Thank you Aaron and thereuare! I just booked our trip through your Orbitz link. Got the Sofitel Water Tower (and airfare) for slightly less than the Intercontinental (after coupon). Thanks again for all your help and for maintaining such a great travel site. -87W
  3. Thank you. Would you recommend the Inter-Continental? How does it compare to the Sofitel Water Tower (rated #1 on TA)? -87W
  4. My friend (on a whim) went on the Waldorf Astoria site the night before we were thinking of leaving and they had rooms with two double beds for less than $300. He was all jazzed about staying there so we booked it directly through their site. Nice location but the hotel/rooms are definitely outdated and you're definitely paying for the name. We still had a great time in the city though so it all worked out. Thanks for all your help.
  5. Going to Chicago with my girlfriend 8/2-8/6 and looking for a nice place to stay in a good location. I've been there once before and she's never been. Hotwire shows a 4.5* with the following amenities - Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center and High-Speed Internet TripAdvisor reviews - (3.5 out of 5) based on 200+ customer reviews, last reviewed June 2008 Any idea which hotel this is? Thanks in advance for any information.
  6. Thanks kgclark. There's only two of us now so if we can get a place with double beds, we'd be all set. Going to talk to my buddy to see if he's okay with $250. Think it's worth taking a shot on Priceline anyway? Thanks everyone for your help. A friend of mine told me the Tribeca Film Festival is this weekend so that could be part of why getting a hotel for cheap is so tough. -87W
  7. We really don't want to spend much more than $200 and now it sounds like the triple occupancy is going to be a problem through PRICELINE. HOTWIRE hotels were up near $400...
  8. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the NFL Draft is this weekend...
  9. Great site! Looking for a hotel room for 3 people for this Saturday night, 4/26. Would prefer Times Square area but flexible as long as it's in the city. Looking to pay maximum of $200 for 4*. Thanks in advance! -87W
