Re-bid severl times started at 60 and ended up at 95.00 actually needed the room for two nights but only booked for one so far. I think I will try again in a few days to see if I can get something else. I called the hotel to verify the room choice and we have 4 adults in our rooms and they want us to get a king size bed or pay 30.00 additional to upgrade to a double room. UGH! Plus 20.00 for each extra adult. So an additional 70.00 per room per night. Anyone had any experience with this hotel? Is there anyway to get around the fees? Kristen

We are planning a trip to Chicago 4/15-4/17. We are going to American Girl at Water Tower and I'd love to stay in the Hilton Suites again. We did the same trip last year and I don't know how I got the suite hotel. Any tips? Kristen

Hi I'm trying to get a flight from Bloomington, IL (BMI) to Orlando, FL (MCO) for June 12th to the 20th. I've used priceline a lot for hotels and always get great deals. I'm having trouble figuring out how much I should bid. The tickets are 281 today. Last night they were 243. I'd like to pay 140 per ticket. Any suggestions? Kristen

We are torn between VA Beach and Myrtle Beach for a vacation. I've found a 3* on hotwire for 7/19-7/21 with 2 adults/2 children for 133 a night. I'd love something less but we do want oceanfront so I'm guessing it's not going to happen. Hi we are wanting to find something for July 19th thru July 21st in Myrtle Beach, SC. We've never been there before. We had planned to go to the outer banks but decided we'd rather have a beach resort feel than a wildlife refuge one. I did a search on hotwire and it came up with three areas for myrtle beach. I'm not sure which one I should be looking for. I'm hoping that the beaches aren't super crowded there and we do have 3 small children. Thanks for any help! Kristen

We loved the HGI. We've stayed there before but never through hotwire. We stayed there June 18th and 19th. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. I called the front desk several times asking what bus/train I should take and they were always very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for all the help!

I'm still trying to work on my june 18 trip to Chicago. I've used your links to PRICELINE on here and I've been trying to use your re-bid strategy of adding zones that don't have a 4* hotel. I've rebid twice and it doesn't let me take any of those old areas off. Does that make sense? Do you have to add so many areas before it will let you take some off and keep trying to re-bid? If this doesn't work theres the Hilton Garden Inn through HOTWIRE for 79. Kristen

I'm looking for a hotel for 5 adults and 3 children. I'm hoping to get two rooms and I'd love a suite hotel. Can I book those on PRICELINE / HOTWIRE? We would like 3 or 4 star. And it doesn't have to be a suite but it you know of a way to get a suite I'd appreciate advice. I'd love the intercontinental and to actually stay on michigan ave if it was possible. Thanks! We would like to go to Chicago this weekend on the amtrak. We've been there several times but we've never been without a car. Can anyone suggest a good area to search for a hotel? Hi I have never rented a car before so I'm a little lost at this. I have a couple of coupons for 10% off and a double upgrade coupon through Enterprise. What does double upgrade mean? Does it mean that I can go up two vehicle classes or does it mean I can move up to a larger vehicle such as an SUV? We need a vehicle from Peoria, IL May 10 thru the 18th. I'm not sure where to being so if anyone can give me some pointers I would appreciate it. Thanks! Kristen
