But I'd rather not take the risk (and even though Hotwire is currently offering the Intercontinental for $172 a night, this will be over $250 once we account for taxes and the extra person fee of $40 a night). Instead, we are going to book El San Juan directly thru AAA. Thanks!

Hi, I am looking to go to the Isla Verde part of PR from 5/19 to 5/23. I am only interested in beachfront resorts, and would like either the El San Juan or the Intercontinental. Would PRICELINE let me bid for just Isla Verde hotels, with ratings? I do not want to get stuck with either the Hilton or the Marriott. I have never done PRICELINE before.
