We already had 2 rooms reserved at this Marriott for $149 a night for the Louisville Triathlon. So we just cancelled those.

I got the first room for 4 nights first at $75 from 8/28/08-9/1/08. Got the 2nd room for the 2 nights by starting at $71 and inching up until I got it at $74.

    Great deal. Saved us $100's.

Not a big fan of the location. Didn't save too much either. 69Euro a night on their website.

Stayed here last year for $30 on the same weekend. Maybe next year I'll get it for $16.

Surprisingly decent hotel. Very friendly staff and the breakfast is pretty good.

The price at the marriott website would have been $192.24.

  4. Have been bidding both San Antonio and Austin 4* for the last month for 2 nights 9/15-17.

Failed in 4* San Antonio bidding up to $160 and failed 4* Austin up to $140 and 3* $90. Rates weren't that expensive in Austin either. The Omni was $179 both nights. I decided to bid for only one night, starting at $75, bidding in $5 increments. I ended up getting the Hilton for $95. I used Marriott points to stay in SA the next night.
