Booked with $25 coupon. My friends booked last month for $100/night but no coupon, I have been watching it all week, had been upwards of $119. Had a cancellable reservation at the property for $135/night (1 Queen) and a net price of $445 after taxes so the $68 savings is not huge but it is enough for me to pre-pay since I am leaving in just a few days.

Basically, I'm trying to avoid any Club Quarters properties. They are fine for a day or two but this is a 5+ day business trip.

I did use the BB HOTWIRE link for the search and will use it if I purchase or elect to go to PRICELINE. I have the full-service Marriott for $283 (cancellable) which is $43 over my per diem, and I'd be willing to pay that out of pocket if necessary to ensure a great trip.
So this is definitely the Westin Beach Resort. My corporate rate is $142 and I'd rather pay that than $123 through HOTWIRE because it does include free HSIA and allows for cancellation. With that said, I'm going to try bidding on PRICELINE up to $105 and that is enough savings to make it worthwhile.
The deal has expired. That made me relieved so I'm glad I didn't book it. It appears the Club Quarters World Trade or World Center Hotel is going for $146 that weekend. I might book that. That Club Quarters is just much nicer.
It has now dropped down to 4*. It was definitely 4.5* yesterday, I have the screen prints to prove it.
Thanks for the information. I'm still mulling this. I'm honestly not sold on that Club Quarters, I prefer the other one in this zone...but it is a fab deal.
Based upon my research, I'm going to venture a guess that the Westin Beach Resort was upgraded. I'm going to mull it over in the next few hours, that is a very fine property.
Dates: 12/25 to 12/31
I used your link for the search and am ready to buy if it is a nicer property.

Children's Activity Program
I think the Children's Activity Program + Smoke Free + Laundry are going to really help whittle it down so I'm going to start trying to figure it out on my own as well. Would it be safe to say that perhaps a list would be: Westin Beach Resort, Marriott Harbor Beach, Hyatt Pier 66, W Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach? I'm guessing maybe a 4* was upgraded?
Thanks for your help. I note the previous poster got the Club Quarters and the Customer Rating was 90% and the icons slightly different, while this had a Customer Rating is 85%. Does that matter?
I bid on Priceline for $115 for a 3* in Central Park South, Midtown West and Times Square and was rejected. Is it possible this is just a deal available to Hotwire or that it is for a hotel rated lower than 3* by Priceline?
Sorry for all the questions. I can get the W Hotel for $171 or the Four Points Chelsea for $175 (with free internet & hot breakfast) and while this obviously represents a significant savings on either of those, I don't want it to come at the expense of an inferior property. I'd be very happy with the Club Quarters or the Manhattan Centre, I just don't want something like the Holiday Inn.

I will use the board's links when I purchase. Thanks!
Thanks everyone. The lowest rate at Westin.com is $279 so I'm pretty stoked, obviously, to be saving $173/night. I paid $155/night on a special deal through Westin 2 years ago (less busy time) and thought it was worth every dime.
Here is the amenity combination I purchased although my rate did increase to $106 when I came back to it and purchased it.

I still can't edit the heading on my OP. If an admin or moderator could, I just got the Westin Diplomat (not the CC) for $106 for the dates listed.
OK, I can't seem to edit my post. I will keep trying to figure that out. I got the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa (the one on the beach) for $106. I'm sure I could have paid $20/night less on Priceline but it was soooooo important to me that I most likely was going to get the Westin that I paid the extra.
I get that the three main 4* hotels in Hollywood Beach (FLL) are the Crowne Plaza, Westin Diplomat and The Diplomat Country Club. I don't want to stay at the Crowne Plaza. If you've stayed at the Westin or the Diplomat CC, you would understand why. I have a bit of flexibility on my dates between 3/24 and 4/4 and am just looking for 7 days in that range.
It looks like the Crowne Plaza and Westin have the same amenities except when you click through, one of them shows the Spa. The Westin doesn't have a Spa on site but you take the shuttle to the Diplomat CC for it. The Crowne Plaza doesn't have a Spa. That makes me believe the one with the Spa showing up is the Westin Diplomat, coupled with the fact that I would believe it would have a higher Customer rating (95%) over the Crowne Plaza (85%).
Based upon this, do people think it would be safe to assume from the scenarios below that A is the Diplomat CC, B is the Westin Diplomat and C is the Crowne Plaza. I only threw C in there to identify a different hotel. I really don't want to stay at the Crowne Plaza and am considering a single night purchase just to make sure.
I will use the board link when I complete my purchase. THANKS!

As I was doing some research to confirm this, I found a rate of $126 for the Mandarin Oriental and felt like I really couldn't pass up the opportunity to stay in a true 5* hotel. I would have been conflicted about pocketing the DtD anyway because work was paying the initial rate. Now I have a clear conscience and fantastic hotel. Thanks for your help!

Hotwire Property: 4.5* Condo
Price: $143/night
Based upon the hotel list, it appears to me that this would be the PH Towers Westgate. If so, their website has a $102.25 available to everyone rate. I'm on an expense account and the Hotwire rate is within my per diem so the $41 x 2 per night ($82 x 4 = $328) would go into my pocket because I'm using my card. Do people think this will work? If I purchase, I will use the board link.

I had checked several times today, including even earlier, on this zone for tonight. It kept showing what I knew to be the Wyndham (70-75% satisfaction). I wanted something else but the Crowne Plaza was around $100. I came home and was resigned to booking the Wyndham but it must be due to the late hour that it became unavailable and the rate went up a few $$$ but then the satisfaction went up to 95% so I booked it.
The amenities have changed to be equal to the Wyndham.

I'm hoping it might be the Sheraton in Iselin (Sheraton at Woodbridge Place). Thoughts?

Started at $45 after I saw it for $54 on PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals. Not a perfect location but ~ 30 minutes on the tube to Queen's Club versus paying $800 to stay at a Marriott. Appears to be a new hotel for the list and fairly well reviewed. I'm not at all familiar with this agoda rate but I'll take it.
