I need some clarification on one more property, which I would think is the Avenue hotel but for the number of TA reviews shown. It's a 4* in NMA from 7/30 - 8/3 for $113 per night (best value icon shown), and with 4/5 TA rating and 140+ reviews, with: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby This looks like an exact match for the Avenue hotel based upon your list, however when you go to TA there are only 60 reviews for this hotel, wheras hotwire is showing 140+. Any ideas?

I became a little more flexible with dates. On 7/30 - 8/2, I now see a 4* in NMA Water Tower for $132 per night, with 4.5/5 TA reviews (80+ reviews), and: Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access I would have guessed the Rafaello based upon the list but the list doesn't show restaurant. I began bidding on a resort, and then added 4* I had a few weeks to play with so I wasn't in a rush and started my bids very low. I think I was on my 6th rebid when I finally won this ($60 was the final bid I was willing to make). I think you can can some 3* and 3.5* hotels for a little less (or a little more) but this hotel looks to be considerably nicer than those. Also, I did not realize until you asked me that this hotel is considered a "resort" by priceline (see http://travela.priceline.com/travelguides/...ickid=ORLANDOFL ) so I guess I did received an upgraded hotel win (although I don't recall the confirmation message saying that it was an upgrade). A recheck of my confirmation also shows that this is a resort.

Started bidding at $35 - rejected up to $56. Made the jump to $60 and won the Hilton in the Disney World Resort. Best rate on the hotel's website was $98. I don't see this hotel on the current priceline list. Used the links.

Regarding the 4*, when I add 2 children (with 2 adults), in the same area (NMA) it shows $143 per night with: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access It is NOT listed as a customer favorite. I assume that this is still unknown? There seem to be several properties on your list that this could be.

Since I am going for the caretotrade.com convention which is at the rosen shingle creek, I decided to play it safe and book directly with the hotel. Thanks for your help and I will use your links next time I book with a 3rd party.

I think that npaden wasn't referring to any of the Sheraton Vistana properties - instead, he was referring to the Vista Cay Resort (no affiliation with Sheraton). The Vista Cay Resort is in the I Drive South/Sea World Zone. Do you still think that the condo I listed was a Sheraton and not the Vista Cay Resort?

Went with Naples instead. Used PRICELINE for 4/12 - 4/13 and got the Hyatt Resort in Bonita Springs for $150. This is a pretty big savings that I did not expect to get. I"ll post this winning in the Priceline section Started at $125 and included Naples. Accepted at $150.
