  1. Thanks. After I posted that I noticed priceline added Le Montrose Suite Hotel :) Which i really don't want, so I guess I'm screwed. Is it a 50/50 chance to get the Renaissance? Is there any rhyme or reason to how it picks which hotel you get? Is it random? Does it depend on what price you bid? thereuare - sorry, I didn't end up bidding for the Ft Lauderdale hotels, my mom decided not to go :)
  2. Hi there, New to this bidding thing. I want to use Priceline to bid on the Renaissance Hollywood for May 23-26. It appears it's the only 4* in that area, so I'm guaranteed to get that hotel right? Any suggestions on what to start the bidding at?
  3. I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm new to bidding on PRICELINE. I'm trying to book my parents a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, but they need something within walking distance to the beach. From what I can tell (and i'm not sure if I'm doing this right) the 4 *s in this area are: - Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort - Hyatt regency Pier 66 - Il Luggano Hotel - The Atlantic - St. regis Resort 3*s are: - Sheraton Yankee Trader - Gallery One Ft. Lauderdale (Doubletree) How can I find out how far they are from the beach? And what would I even start as an opening bid? Is there a certain percentage of listing price that you start with? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
