  1. Amenities: Restaurant Pool Fitness Used the HOTWIRE link above to book. Sucks there is a resort fee. Hoping to get Aria, but it's still a great price!
  2. Selected South, North and north Vicinity with 5 Stars with a bid of $40...rejected added 4 stars with a bid of $45...rejected added a random region that didn't have 4 or 5 Star hotels with a bid of $50...accepted for Luxor used the PRICELINE link on top of this page too.
  3. Just purchased this... Amenities: Resort, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
  4. and YES i did use the link at the top of the website to purchase. I just forget to say that everytime I have a winning bid =D
  5. $85 4*USW $90 4*USE $95 3.5* accepted Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $95.00 Subtotal: $190.00 Taxes & Fees: $37.06 Total Charges*: $227.06 10 minutes ago I saw what I believed was this same hotel on HOTWIRE going for $102.
  6. Not sure if this was a good deal, but I had to book something that guaranteed two beds that was near Chinatown for my parents and grandfather so I used HOTWIRE (clicked the link from this website but refined search to included the 3rd person). There were no amenities listed for some reason, even when i clicked the CONTINUE link to go to the actual hotel details. Ended up being Hotel Astoria 510 Bush Street Thanks!
  7. I love this website :) Checked other winning bids. Best bid was $86 so I tried a little lower this time. Used the PRICELINE link on this website of course! USW-Nob Hill $70 ... rejected ... enabled me to rebid the same choices if I upped it an additional $22... declined added USE for $75 ... ACCEPTED! 8. I just stayed at the Venetian this past Sunday-Tuesday. At check in, they asked if I wanted two queens or a king. Also, in each room, there is an L shaped couch WITH a foldaway bed, so this could be an option.
  9. From what I know, there is NO WAY to really strategize to try and get the Palazzo or Venetian and not the Trump, plus there is the possibility of being the first to win a new 5* hotel in the North Strip that wasn't reported on this board before (Wynn possibly?) It's the luck of the draw and whichever hotel's accepting price is closest to your bid.
  10. After reading reviews on tripadvisor, I don't think I should book it. They have fees for valet parking because there isn't free parking, and the service seems poor from other's experiences.
  11. I'm thinking it is the Artisan Hotel, but I want to make sure... Ammenities - Boutique Hotel, Pools, Restaurants, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Gold Nearby It's for today, October 18th, 1 day.
  12. Anybody know if they have any discounts for Cirque Du Soleil's "O" performances at the Bellagio in Vegas? I'd like to get one for less than 100 if possible. Thanks!
  13. should this be listed as a 4* on the headline of the post so it doesn't confuse other readers?
  14. Hi, I was just browsing other wins and had a question, If we use the PRICELINE link on this website, we can rebid without having to wait the 72 hour? And we can do this an unlimited number of times? Thanks
  15. Thanks for the help everyone! Here are the results of my win. I didn't really care which hotel I got, but just wanted to stay at a 5 star for once! The Venetian Check In: Sunday, October 19 Check Out: Tuesday, October 21 Price: $119 per night Total including taxes and service fees: $272.07 Bid LV Strip (North) $90... got a counter for $133 Added LV Strip (South) $95...rejected Added Airport $100...rejected Added Fremont $105...rejected Added Convention $110... rejected Added Nellie $115... rejected Added West of Strip $119... accepted!!! So I'm assuming 119 is probably the lowest you could get this hotel for (unless the economy worsens even more) I was also given the option to add more nights if that helps anyone... Thanks again everyone! Oh yeah, and i DID use the PRICELINE link found on this website. Thanks Better Bidding!
  16. Thanks for the advice. Good new and bad news. Good News - Ended up graduating! (YAY) Bad News - Plans fell through with friends and I never went to NY. Thanks for the help though!
  17. Looked at results for this date on the calendar win ($119!!! for Venetian), so trying to get the same deal Bid $95 for LV Strip (North)...received counter for $144! Added Convention Center $100...rejected Added Fremont $105...rejected Added Airport $110...rejected Added Nellie $115...rejected Added West of Strip $119...still rejected... Added LV Strip (South) $120...rejected :) The previous winner for this date at Venetian for 119 had an intial counter offer of $179, making me think that I could have possibly gotten an even better deal since my counter was lower...but I guess not.. Any suggestions? Or should I just wait to do this on low-demand dates like Monday or Tuesday? Thanks!
  18. Hi everyone, I am planning on travelling to NY after I graduate from UCLA in June (YAY!) and am pretty flexible about the dates I travel. I am looking to travel for probably 4-6 days anywhere from June 16-July 4th. Which days of the week are best for cheaper hotel fares? Also, which regions are the best to stay at (with relative ease to travel to different areas using public transportation). And how much will I be looking to spend for a hotel room? I'm so used to 4* $100 hotel rooms in CA, but looking at the NY boards, it seems like they run from around $175-300!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  19. Thanks for the help everyone. I tried one last time to try and get a 4* for 100 or under to no luck... So i went ahead and booked at Whitcomb for two nights 90 bux each night with my 50 dollar coupon. Ended up being $155 total
  20. I believe it's 90 bux per night for two nights and then I will use the $50 coupon. Any better deals? maybe go for a 3 star instead of being so picky? :)
  21. My backup is at the Whitcomb with a 50 dollar off coupon from Expedia, which will guarantee a two bed room. It's my spring break from college so I'm guessing that's the reason the rates are higher
  22. Tried again tonight for 3/25-3/27 all for 4* hotel 1st bid 75 USE 2nd bid 80 add USW 3rd bid 85 add Fishermans 4th bid 90 add Civic 5th bid 95 add South SF 6th bid 99 add Cathedral 7th bid 100 add Lombard...all rejected. Oh well, i got a backup if it doesnt work out with this PRICELINE thingamajig...
  23. I'm willing to take the risk. Do most people end up being able to request two beds or is it solely based on availability?
