  1. When I secured the Sofitel on Hotwire - these were the amenities listed: Restaurant(s) Fitness Center Business Center FYI - in case anyone is trying to identify this 4.5* on NMA. By the way, it is rated the #1 Chicago hotel on Trip Advisor. :)
  2. I got the Hyatt Regency - Wacker Drive - for 7/17 for $88. The following ameneties are listed: Restaurant(s) Fitness Center Business Center The Hyatt is now running an $89 special for the summer...and that actually comes out about $4 less after figuring in Hotwire fees. And, now the Hyatt seems to be coming up for $58 on Hotwire. Still, I feel that it was a good deal and I am not upset. The hotel is in a great location...and will serve my needs perfectly! :)
  3. That's what I was afraid of..... I booked the Hyatt for July 17th for $88 and now it is $58. <Grrrrrr> Oh well....
  4. My best friend got married last Sunday night...and got the GRAND HYATT in Buckhead for her wedding night for $85! She asked for early check-in - GOT IT. Asked for a high-up floor - GOT IT. She tried to upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi...and was willing to pay a little bit.....but was told that was $750.00 extra! :)) (Didn't do it!! LOL) When she and her new husband got to their room....there was champagne, cheeses and chocolate waiting for them, compliments of the man at the front desk! Anyone who claims that if you book through Hotwire that you get the tiny, corner room is WRONG!!
  5. This is listed as a BEST Value. Anyone have any idea what the $58 4* hotel is? I searched for July 17th, one night.
  6. I got the Sofitel NMA 4.5* for $155 (7/13-15) and then the Hyatt Regency (Mag Mile) 4* for $88 for 7/17. Thanks for helping me to identify these! Go to Atlanta for a great Hotwire story from me! :)
  7. I was all set to book this 4.5* on Hotwire which came up for $143 last night after reading that it was the SOFITEL, but today it is coming up as $197. What a difference? Any opinions on the SOFITEL vs. the DRAKE for a special stay? Thanks so much in advance! :)
  8. :) I just booked the WESTIN in Times Square which is listed as a 4.5* for $146 for Sept. 23 and 24. When I first searched, this hotel came up as $168 - Best Value. On second try - it came up as $146. Interesting twist: When I searched with 1 adult & 2 children - this hotel and many others came up! When I searched with the default of 2 adults 0 children - totally different hotels came up! I never tried it with children before....I wonder why there is a difference?? Any comments on this? I'm thrilled with the WESTIN - it is very new, very contemporary, and the lowest internet price for the same room is $289. This was the cheapest hotel room on Hotwire for NYC for my dates!!
