priceline recently dropped this from 3* to 2* but with school out on Monday, Orlando is busier than normal. My kids have Friday off also and we live two hours away from Orlando so I can see alot of parents making it a 4 day weekend.

best guess is Doubletree GS as I've seen the Embassy rated 3.5* in the past with a package. If it is the DTGS you should bid for it on PL since it should come back in the $40's based on the HW info.
That Holiday Inn is managed by the parent company (InterContinental Hotels Group) so maybe that's why it get's 3*'s :)

peak season in South Florida is January thru Easter. LOTS of Snowbirds from the Northeast and Quebec. A $50 winning bid in December should in no way be expected during "season".
in my case the orlando deal they listed is the rock bottom I have even seen the Hilton prices at. I've won it a few times or the years and never has it been below $35.
It seems there are just "giving away" the actual opaque price to bid.

the address is at the top of my first post. The official name is Comfort Suites Universal South. It's on the west side of 1-4 across the highway from Int'l drive. It's a easy ride to Universal on a few back streets.
