  1. you havn't waited 24 hours if you get that message.
  2. how many adults/kids are you searching for? are you checking in 6/15 for 2 nights or 3 nights?
  3. if you do a package search for your dates (hotel & car) you'll find it's a match for the Clarion Universal. this is a 2.5* on priceline and has mediocre reviews at best. You'll get a nicer place by bidding for a 3* on priceline and pay less than $59. Is $59 the maximum you want to spend? I'm confident you'll win a 3* before or when you hit $55. I did a search on HOTWIRE for 2 adults and 2 kids for your dates (just to see if something else would show) and the 3* that displays in the I drive north zone appears to be the Sheraton Studio City for $69.
  4. I don't know when you plan to purchase but as of now these seem like you options (imo) 1. the 3* in the Sea World - I drive south zone that shows: suite, breakfast, fitness, pool, laundry and internet. This is not an exact match to the Residence Inn (missing Tennis) and is also close to the Homewood Suites that has been reported. It could be either one or a new property but at $49 it meets your goal of breakfast and pool. 2. the 2.5* in the Dinsey Main Gate-Champions Gate for $46 that appears to be the Seralogo Hotel. Location is closer but no free breakfast but the savings from the 2.5 Disney west at $62 could cover that as I think they have a kids east free program with a paying adult. 3. bid for the 3* on priceline in the WDW zone as mentioned earlier. please make sure you support the board by using the link for HOTWIRE or going to savingsbarn.com for priceline.
  5. can you clarify your check out date? morning of 7/15 or morning of 7/16 I just wanted to mention this. Since the Radisson Worldgate is showing for $59 for your dates, I am 99.9% certain you could bid on priceline for this and win at the $45 price. You could get a different 3* than the Radisson (Sheraton Safari, Best Western) but the price would still be $45 (or less). This would save you $17 per night over your original 2.5* Disney west which could go towards/cover breakfast. When I just did a new search on HOTWIRE, the Residence seems to be gone and a different 3* is showing that is why I wanted you clarify your dates.
  6. maybe 7 miles and up to 20 minutes with normal traffic. how many days so you plan on spending at Disney?
  7. The zone/area is last on my list of places to stay. Unless you have to be in that zone look for something else like..... HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Radisson Worldgate for less money ($59) in the Disney area and on I-drive the Residence Inn (suite w/breakfast) is available for $53.
  8. agreed and I have this hotel booked for June. I called ahead and it's a one bedroom suite.....plus with this location you can stay off International drive and avoid the traffic...
  9. Hotwire Hotel List it's a list of known winners and it's pinned at the top of each sub forum.
  10. did you compare to the "list", I'm pretty sure they are on there.
  11. failed at $40 600 Tampa Oaks Blvd Temple Terrace, Fl. 33637 813-342-5000 the hotel I usually stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Tampa North is sold out so I tried PL for this stay.
  12. breakfast, pool, golf Park Inn Orlando/Winter Park 951 Wymore Road , Winter Park FL 32789
  13. Resort Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Spa Services The Buena Vista Palace in the Walt Disney World Resort 1900 Buena Vista Drive Orlando, Florida 32830 (407) 827-2727 not much savings from the retail price of $129 but worth it to walk/stumble back from Pleasure Island :)
  14. with a big convention in town I was thrilled.
  15. 1st try of $90 was rejected with a counteroffer of $112. rebid $91, $92, $93, $94 and won at $95....
  16. I think you might be missing some "icons". If you click on hotel details you should see the complete list. There should be at least the "tennis" "golf" and "children's activities" to add to your list. Also, on the details page, notice the tripadvisor rating of 3.5* out of 5 and 60+ customer reviews. If you take this info to tripadvisor.com you can get a better "guess". and finally by doing a car & hotel package search you can further identify the hotel. It's a easy one so you should be able to figure it out by the above clues, if your having trouble just ask (again).
  17. 1st offer of $104 was rejected woth counteroffer of $126 :) used a free rebid at $105 and won :) hotwire displayed what appeared to be this hotel for $142
  18. print the fact that none of the 3 shows a success and then wait.....
  19. this property is now a 3.5* as I received an email today telling me of the downgrade. Per HW's rating promise they also sent $50 in hotdollars. 20. the list shows this hotel in the "Universal zone" and when looking at hotwire's map it sure seems to be in the "Universal zone" but not according to this email I just got back from Hotwire it's in the "Seaworld-Convention Center zone": "Thank you for your feedback about your upcoming stay at the Crowne Plaza Universal Orlando. Customer feedback is an important component in ensuring a quality product on Hotwire. We have reviewed the hotel's location and verified that it is within the SeaWorld - Convention Center, Florida city area. Our customers are important to us, and we hope to have a chance to better serve your needs in the near future." SeaWorld - Convention Center 3 *** Hotel Crowne Plaza Universal Orlando 7800 Universal Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32819 This Hotel features the following amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access
  21. you are correct I didn't copy and paste as usual and mixed it up with the another Marriott product. here is the cut and paste: SpringHill Suites Orlando Convention Center 8840 Universal Blvd, Orlando, Florida 32819
  22. Suite, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Ctr, Pool, Business Ctr, HS Internet property is adjacent to the Residence Inn Convention Center that is on the "list". 8840 Universal Blvd, Orlando, Florida 32819 I called the hotel and they don't have a specific airport shuttle. I emailed hotwire about this so in the future the "airport shuttle" icon might be removed. The property gets great reviews online so this seems like a great addition to the area.
