They gave me a complimetary upgrade. I was on the very top floor overlooking manhattan skyline and water. niice.

Started bidding at $95 on 4* Jersey City hotels. rebidding while adding zones. after 3rd zone added..was accepted at $106 bid Your Offer Price: $107.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $107.00 Taxes and Fees: $42.20 Total Charges*: $256.88 Hope it's worth it. I usually stay at Candlewood for $50 but couldn't get it this time lol I used the PRICELINE link at the top of this forum

i have noticed a few times that the hotels tended to give me their old raggedy rooms. once a hotel i booked thru priceline put us in an older room with no bathtub or shower stall. the shower had a curtain and it was concrete floor. i complained and they said they were SOLD OUT..nothing available. sooo later on i thought i saw a bed bug and freaked. they immediately moved us to another room upstairs. i couldn't believe these new & improved beautiful rooms. and ithought they were sold out:-/. had us down in the basement cause we paid priceline rate.

and on tripadvisor no 2.5* hotel in chareston area has a pool. 3* and up. yet on hotwire its 2.5* w/ pool

bidded $44 other day and got rejected. bidded again today for this coming weekend. accepted $55 2* (Hoboken-Jersey City) Candlewood Suites $55 6/12/09-6/14/09 i stayed here for $45 last time..im spoiled now with the low rates im getting..lol used PRICELINE link at top of page
