  1. I received this hotel for $70, taxes/fees $15.29 total: $85.29 I have won this hotel before in Tallahassee, Its a nice hotel in a convenient location to FSU. I need one more night, but after trying to add a night, was declined and offered $215 per night for the same hotel. Tallahassee is a finicky place to get a room depending on demand. I have seen this same hotel for $400 plus per night, I guess its nice to have a predictable increase in demand when students are returning.... The hotels certainly know how to capitalize on us parents!!
  2. I had bid several times for this zone for these dates including 3.5, 4, and 4.5 stars at different times. Last night I noticed a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for Downtown 4.5 stars for $121, so I decided to bid to see what price I could get it. Ended up with the Intercontinental for $110, this is an excellent price even if I also have to pay $15 hotel fee and steep parking.... As always used the PRICELINE link to start bidding.
  3. Bid for this hotel for a Florida State visit. Great rate and perfect location
  4. I bid several times over a few weeks for this hotel. Prices are high in Miami in the winter so I was very happy with this rate. As always, used the PRICELINE link for all bidding.
  5. I just want to clarify it is not the hotel on the title of this topic, I entered it as "Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Tampa N- Busch Gardens" but it was changed to "Holiday Inn EXPRESS..." which it is not. I cannot alter it. This is a hotel not currently on your list.

Oh well. Thanks for all your help.

  14. I bid this for my sister who is not familiar with PRICELINE bidding using the links on this forum. I started at $50, was asked to increase my bid to $60. I declined, added a free rebid zone and was accepted at $55. A very nice hotel, especially at this price:-) Price per night: $55 Taxes and fees: $14.48 Total: $69.48 (I believe this property also has a $25 resort fee)
  15. I am still posting for my friend. I helped her with this purchase I was on my computer and was showing the amenities from my original post, but she saw the following amenities. I could not figure out why we had 2 different sets of amenities. I kept trying to do my search over, but it did not seem to change what I saw. Anyway, this is what she ended up with: 3/15/13 - 3/17/13 4* Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney $100 Caribe Royal Here are the amenities she was showing: Resort Free Parking Suite Fitness Pool Restaurant Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower Thank you for your help.
  16. I still see the same amenities, weird?? I will ask her, but she is a bit intimidated by this process so I was trying to help her through it. She might just take her chances. The closest property I can see is the Caribe Royal or maybe the Hilton in the Disney Resort. She knows this is still a gamble. Thank you for the help. I will post or have her post the final outcome.
  17. When I click the "show me" button and hit "see all" I only see the amenities listed. The price, however , is increased to $101 now. I don't even see this property you show the amenities for. I will send her through this site to book. Thanks for your help.
  18. I am looking at this for a friend. Could you please help ID this LBV/ Downtown Disney Area hotel? 3/15/2013 - 3/17/2013 $99/night 95% approval rating Amenities : Resort Free parking Pool Fitness Center Restaurant High speed Internet access Accessible for blind Accessible for deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicap parking Roll-in shower I do not see anything that indicates that a resort fee is charged. Thank you in advance for your input.
  19. Forgot to mention- as usual, I begin all my searches and purchases using this forum :-)
  20. I bid multiple times in the Venice and East Sarasota zones starting at $55 , decreasing star level until I won the Comfort Inn East Sarasota for $75/ night. Not a great price, but the best/least expensive I could get. Just need a 1 night stop during kids sporting event. The hotel web site rate is $119, so not too bad in that light. $75/ night $17.08 Tax $92.08 Total
  21. Started bidding using the PRICELINE link at $45. Increased by $3-$5 adding rebid zones. Was accepted at the Westin Imagine for $70 per night. This hotel has no resort fee, but did have a $12 parking fee. Nice, updated, clean hotel. Price per night $70 Number of nights 2 Subtotal: $140 Taxes: $27.12 Total: $167.12
  22. Absolutely, here are the amenities as listed on my reservation: 1 Bedroom Suite Fully-equipped Kitchen Smoke Free Rooms Free Parking Air-Conditioning Washer and Dryer in Room Children's Activity Program Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center 24-hour Front Desk Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby
  23. I had already booked this hotel via Hotwire, just decided to extend my stay one more night. Looks like a pretty nice place. Sheraton Vistana Resort Rate per night: $98.00
  24. I had already won this hotel for my husband's trip to Madrid for March 25-27. It turned out they needed another day and the PRICELINE offer to "add another night" was rejected. So I continued to bid just on this zone in hopes of receiving the same hotel. I bid quite a few times up to $120. I noticed what was most likely the Melia on Hotwire for $143, so I figured before buying through Hotwire, I would take the chance a bid a bit below this price on Priceline(knowing I could get another hotel). My strategy worked and I won the Melia. Melia Madrid Princess - Around La Castellana Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $131.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $131.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $20.34 (USD) Total Room Cost: $151.34 (USD) I used the PRICELINE link to begin my purchase.
