My last rejected bid was $60.

Started at $50 and kept using free rebids, finally this was accepted: Your Offer Price: $62.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $62.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $16.33 Total Charges: $78.33 Best published rate for this hotel that I could find was $81 and that was the govt rate.

Rejected at $54, $60, $65 - on my last free rebid I finally got: Your Offer Price: $71.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $71.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $16.75 Total Charges: $87.75 MUCH more expensive that I would expect for this area on the weekend, perhaps the fact that the University of Louisville vs U of KY football is being played in Louisville the following afternoon explains some of that. Finally, until recently the Embassy Suites USED to be the only 3* choice for Louisville East as the Marriott was only recenly added by PL - I preferred the good old days when I KNEW that if I had a bid accepted that I was guaranteed the Embassy Suites (a much better hotel than the Marriott in my opinion if for no other reason the evening free drinks and the cooked to order breakfasts).

MY SINCERE APOLOGIES - the Candlewood Suites Cincy NE Blue Ash is designated by PL as a 2*, NOT a 3* as I carelessly made a typo in the thread title. If you have the capability please feel free to correct the title to reflect that this is indeed a 2* property. Sorry about that...

I have stayed at the Springhill Suites (PL lists it under the Cincinnati - King's Island Vicinity rather than under the Cincy NE - Blue Ash) on a few other occasions under normal rates rather than PL bids. It is only listed as a 2*, in my eyes it is MUCH better than that, I'd much rather stay there than the nearby Holiday Inn Sharonville that PL lists as a 3*.

Really wanted Kings Island area but with it being a summer Friday night plus a pro tennis tournament in town most of the area rooms were booked. Had three different users bid and used numerous free rebids starting at $35 per night.
