  1. Bid $38 rejected. Added free rebid zone and bid $39 accepted I used $10 Bonus Bucks from Entertainment Card so I was unable to use the PRICELINE link this time. So net cost was $29 per night + tax = $109 all in! Posted rate is $124 per night prepaid or $145 per night cancellable
  2. $45 rejected with counter offer added rebid zone and $46 was accepted Used the PRICELINE link
  3. Yellowdog warned you in your other post that you were likely going to win the Crowne Plaza yet you went ahead and bid and won it - and now complain? Priceline Hollywood Beach Florida If you did not want the Crowne Plaza, you should not have bid for a 4* in this zone. Checkin is posted as 4pm on the hotels website so why would you expect to be given a room at 2pm? Sure some hotels allow this if rooms are available but to sit and complain when you don't get it doesn't make sense, especially when you are paying less than half of the posted rate ($259). Even if you bid $180 you still likely would have got the same hotel since it is the same star level in the same zone.

  12. Thanks to lubiere for his recent $45 post on this hotel. I bid $45 on a 2.5* and was upgraded to a 3* Hilton Garden Inn. PRICELINE said I had a low chance of winning but I went ahead and bid anyways. A great deal for this hotel! It looks like they've recategorized some of the hotels in this zone as there is now a 3.5* category and this use to be a 2.5* "Congratulations, we

  14. Assuming the numbers match the first post, this looks correct. However, I think you'll have a tough time getting a 3* for $50 in Markham, especially if you're nights are during week days. The 2.5* hotels (Courtyard and Residence Inn) in this area are decent so that might be another option if you can't get a 3* for $50 but that would reduce the number of free rebid zones.
  15. That is correct. This hotel use to be a Renaissance. It was taken over by the Dolce group a couple of years back and was rebranded as a Doubletree about a year ago
  16. Bid $52 and was counter offered to add $15. Used my one free rebid zone and bid $60 - accepted. The vacations link was only showing the Marriott in this zone so I was hoping to win that hotel. However, the reviews of this hotel look OK. Doubletree.com rate was $99. Note this is a Doubletree hotel - the list does not reflect that Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen Bedford - Burlington 44 Middlesex Turnpike Bedford, Massachusetts 01730 781-275-5500 Used the PRICELINE hotel link.

  22. I thought I'd post a followup to this post. I informed Carlson hotels (the owner of this Chain and others) about my experience. They were unable to get a response from this hotel so they gave me hotel vouchers worth more than the entire value of my stay. Since these vouchers are also good at Country Inn and Suites (which is a much nicer chain of hotels IMO) and TGI Fridays. So although Priceline did nothing to help, it's nice to see that the management company did :)
  23. The Crowne Plaza is an OK hotel. I think it's highly unlikey that you'll get a refund from Priceline.
