  1. ok went back through internet history... for the Sheraton - amenities: smoke free fitness center pool restaurant business center high speed internet HOCH Regatta 2010
  2. Just booked through HOTWIRE: Sheraton, Copley Square/Back Bay. $104.00 ($127.95 w/ tax TOTAL cost - ok you'll have to pay to park, but you'll have to do this anywhere) 10/23/2010 Sat night Love this hotel - we walk to the farmer's market on Sunday morning and get breakfast. I've usually waited until my husband finds out if he gets a spot in the race with the lottery, but then I'm bidding very close to the dates. Decided to book early this year...very good idea. History - 2007 Holiday Inn Express paid $252 (and we booked early) never again! not a bad place, but just so expensive for what it is. then I learned at least to stay in nicer places for the same amount through Hotwire... 2008 SAME Sheraton Copley Square purchased Oct 2nd ($215 all-in) 2009 Royal Sonesta purchased Oct 7th ($250 all-in) hope you all find this helpful :)
  3. The Head of the Charles regatta is on Saturday and Sunday. It draws 8,000 athletes and 300,000 spectators over the course of the weekend. It's a tough time to get a hotel room, nevermind a deal :-/ Indeed it's the regatta causing problems. however.. LAST year I used Hotwire (Sheraton/Copley Sq.) for $189 this same HOCH weekend - purchased on Oct 2nd. Not so lucky this year YET, but I'm still trying...
