  1. Hi Megan, Thought I'd wade in with my twopence's worth (excuse the idiom I'm English) I book Orlando all the time, unless your the sort of person who always wins a coin toss or for whom the lights always just turn green your not going to get Swans, Dolphin's, or Hard Rock Hotels, you do have a realistic chance of getting the Gaylord or Peabody but only closer to your travel time (IMHO). I note your NOT making the usual newbie error of bidding too high, good for you! and don't worry about reviews, at the level your looking (4*/resort) they are all fine really, negative reviews are written by people who paid way, way too much. You have already made the first step from being one of the chickens to being a fox, once you get your first 'kill' on priceline you'll never look back! I'm also booking for May (and March and April) if you want any detailed step by step help let me know, otherwise good hunting!
  2. Yes March, I don't understand what you mean about the dates, they are clearly there in the topic description also in the text of the message? the only thing I'm not sure about is the convention you prefer for dates, I have shown nights I'm staying (March 20th, 21st) but hotels normally show checkout date i.e. stay 20th to 22nd actually meaning staying nights of 20th and 21st and checking out morning of 22nd. Which way do you prefer?
  3. Wanted 4*, 3 night stay 19th, 20th, 21st March (Con.Centre-Capitol Hill) but failed over several days/tries up to $80. Noted from most hotel websites that Wed 19th March in Convention Centre-Capitol Hill always at a premium to Thurs/Fri. So decided to split and try for 2 nights 20-21st. There are two free 4*rebid zones for DC. Started at $68 rejected, add 1st rebid zone (Crystal City) $72 rejected, add 2nd rebid (Springfield) $76 Accepted. Used Savingsbarn link Hotel website (Marriott) cheapest ('Special weekend rate') $159 (if you add Wed 19th March $359 a night, what a rip-off!). Although I use priceline a lot, and your excellent site (and another that shall remain, of course, nameless) I confess to not posting enough, in fact I lost my previous details, that's why I signed up as a newbie again for this post, but my conscience wouldn
