Sorry I forgot to post the hotel :) :) Omni Mont-Royal, Montreal 7/23-7/26 2 rooms Got it for 80$

Began bidding at $70. Used free rebids to bid 75, 78, then got it for 80.

Hi, we're planning to stay downtown Montreal, from 7/23~7/26 (3 nights/2 rooms). We tried yesterday up to 73$ for a 4* and today up to 80$ for 4* and 3* with no luck Hotwire gives 99$ for 4*, 82 for 3.5* and 63 for 3*. Any good bidding advice?? Thanks a lot

I tried these bidding strategies for a 4* hotel preferably at at MTW and they didn't work... Select 4* MTW and.... Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone #1 and Bid $110, if rejected close browser and start over with a new screen and... Select 4* MTW and re-bid zone #2 and... Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone #1 (so now you're bidding MTW, rebid1, and rebid2) and... Bid $130 IF THE ABOVE IS REJECTED start over at new screen and.... Select 4* and MTE and... Bid $95, if rejected add MTW and... Bid $105, if rejected add UM/CPS and... Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone #1 and... Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone #2 and... Bid $130. I increased my bidding and with the second strategy I got Sofitel New York Check In: July 16 Check Out : July 18 Offer Price:150$ Thanks for your help

Thanks for you prompt reply Well, I prefer a MTW hotel at $130 than a MTE hotel at $100. UM/CPS could be an option as well, but as I told you my first option is MTW. I read another post here about re-bidding and I think that I get the idea. Thanks

Hi, I am heading up to New York in July. The dates are Friday 16th july for 2 nights. I am hoping not to pay more that $130 a night. The area i would like to stay in is MTW, MTE is also an option Do you think that I could get a 4* hotel?? I have stayed in Hilton New York before and I liked it, any good bidding advice to get this?? Well, any advice is appreciated since I've never used priceline before. Thanks
