  1. Yes, it is rated as boutique. I bidded for 3* and 4* and got boutique.
  2. I got the Wyndham Whitney Historic Hotel for $85. Web price is $170. I guess it is good deal even though there are mixed reviews. Thanks for your help.
  3. Municipal tax became effective about 1 year ago. I think it is 1.5% for most municipalities in Puerto Rico.

  5. Yes, i would accept any hotel with a 3-star rating. I can accept a hotel anywhere within the shaded region, but I would really prefer to be as closely as possible to the Convention Center. I know this might be difficult to achieve based on the way Priceline sets the different zones, but give me your best guidance based on your lists and previous experiences. Closer to Convention Center equals better for me. Joe
  6. It really does not matter much if it's 3 or 4 star. I just want to stay in a decent hotel within a few blocks from the Convention Center. i would say $90 as max bid is optimum. I can actually extend it to $100 if it's really worth. Thanks for your prompt response. Joe
  7. Hi, I am new to betterbidding but not to Priceline. I am looking for a hotel on the Convention Center area from 4/5 to 4/10/08. I am ok with 3 or 4 star, but I would be restricted to this location since I will be spending most of the time at the convention center. I would appreciate your help if you can provide me with a good strategy. I'll be going through savingsbarn to Priceline for doing my request. Thanks Joe
