As mentioned above we didn't use Hotwire Fairhope. We rented a house. I don't have details from car rental in 2012. However, I have posted my last three wins.

I put in Pet Friendly. This hotel has free parking, Internet, and breakfast and it's smoke free. It has a laundry and business center. It has a 90% approval rating and is listed for $104 per night for 7/15-7/19. (Many hotels have added pet fees per night, and we have two pets.)

Yes, it was the retail price. I am not sure about bidding. I would start low and increase the price.

Using Hotwire I got $26.95 a day or $423.76 for a midsize car. I just noticed that a midsize SUV would be $26.95 a day or $420.46 for the entire cost. Either one would be fine. I just multiplied $26.95 times 11 days and got $296.45. I guess the rest is airport fees and tax?

I'm interested in bidding on a car rental in Gulfport, Ms. Do you have suggestions for a minimum bid. It is for 4/26 to 5/7? A midsize would be good, but I am flexible. :)

Ok, I bid $60 for a 3* in Troutdale and got the Holiday Inn in Gresham, not the one I was hoping to get. But it has good reviews. I don't know how to post this win.

We are going to Portland in August for a family reunion, our first trip to the Pacific NW. The Holiday Inn Express on Graham and Comfort Inn and Suites were suggested as possibilities. The events will take place somewhere else where I don't really want to stay. I am relatively new to Priceline and Hotwire. From an earlier post Thereuare indicated these are actually in the Troutdale/Gresham area. To book the Holiday Inn Express would I have a good chance on Priceline, or should I go to Hotwire? That's a great buy. Do you know which Comfort Inn and Suites that is? I am interested in the one on NW Phoenix-Columbia Gorge, or the Holiday Inn Express. If I need to be directed to HOTWIRE, that is fine.
