Forgot to add, we do need a car rental to use 10/6 to 10/13. not sure if there's deals to find alongside this or only separately.

Need a hotel for one night on 10/6. Will be checking in late as arriving at airport in Lihue so hoping for something in that area. Will have the day to enjoy the area as we are checking into a resort in the Princeville area on 10/7. Looking to spend as little as possible while staying in 3* or better unless there's something in the 2* range that is nice. Our resort has no clear ocean views so if there's something that has once it would be nice. Again we're checking out the next morning so not worth spending tons. Thanks!

I'm not sure why I didn't get an email about your reply. Sorry about the delay. Actually my wife decided we should drive right up to Gouldings and camp instead. I wrote las vegas as I got confused which day. We're doing a three week camping trip. Sorry again for wasting time.

I am except that she wants a really nice place where we can use the ID - $20 - CC trick. I've read in other forums of this working in several LV hotels but I've never tried it before. that might get us upgraded to a room with such amenities. we also need a place on the strip preferably. Got an email about a great rate at Circus Circus that I was happy with so used that instead of priceline.

Sorry about that. I just posted the results from the previous threads. I either never got help so did it myself or the rate wasn't good enough so I rented somewhere else. As for this topic to be more specific we're looking for an updated room with jacuzzi/jet-tub with non-smoking, king size bed. Basically a room to relax in as the end to 3 weeks of camping. We want to spend around $100 max.

I never got help so I did it myself. Got a $130/night hotel for $46/night (Sturbridge Host and Conference Center). The hotel was awesome with the nice pool, hot tub, king bed, and close to the funeral home. I even did the same for my mother and sisters too.

So I never found a good result . Thus we decided to rent a prius from Hertz. With 3000 miles planned for this trip it will save us hundreds in gas. We used the CDP from AAA and got the best rate, even better than Car and Driver. Thanks for the help anyway.

I don't get it. I need to take my trip and post my findings before anyone will take a look at it? I thought I post what i'm looking for, you find the deal and I use your links. Am I missing something?

hey thanks dude. here's the thing. My wife now reminds me of the crappy gas mileage of SUVs. She now wants a prius from hertz (or anyone else if they have one in las vegas). They get much better mileage and she really likes them. any chance you know of a hertz green collection deal or weekly deal that works with the prius? the best I can see is $210/week with the hertz car and driver code. I can't find any PC codes that match up. sorry for the extra work. plus we test drove a jeep liberty yesterday and my wife hated it. too rough for her. also that quote said this: Rentals that require Additional Drivers must be completed at the Alamo counter, or via Online Check-In or Save Time. It doesn't say whether or not it includes an additional driver though. thanks again!

where did you see that? i went to BJs.com and their Dollar deals don't include the additional driver. I tried calling them but they always direct me to dollar's hotline with my BJ's code. no luck. besides dollar, what codes do people know of that are the best for a 3 week trip (mid-size SUV)? I see there are hundreds of codes for all rental car places. it's a big maze to me

Thanks. we are bj's members. where do i get that code? online? we're picking up the car at 12:05am on 6/18 and bringing it back july 8th (we have an 11:35pm flight. at mccaran airport. the only dollar codes i see on bjs site is free day, free gps day and free class upgrade. none of which help me. we have our own gps. we want an midsize suv, nothing bigger. and a free day is much less of savings than free additional driver.

Hello, I got a great quote for an SUV using Dollar through a third party. It's for a 21 day trip, but now I find out if I want to be legit and let me wife drive, we'll have to pay an extra $210 (10/day)!! This to me is ridiculous. Does anyone know of a coupon code to get this covered for free? If the answer is no, here's my second option. I found a similar deal on Priceline for about $60 more. But on priceline (where I'm bidding) it says it could come from one of the 5 companies they use. Does anyone know if there's an additional fee using PRICELINE for the reservation? This could basically add 30% back onto our budget for this. Thanks everyone.

This is my first time here, so I'm not sure how this works entirely.

My wife and I have a funeral to attend and need to stay over friday night. we're trying to spen around $40 if possible. $53 is the best we could find. Thanks for the help. Non-smoking and at least a double size bed is all that's required. It must be in sturbridge or fiskdale.

Sorry for the newbie question but I must be really tired. I heard about this site, but I have no idea how it works. My wife and I are going to Denver and traveling for two weeks and ending up in Las Vegas this summer. How do I use this site to find good deals? I've read threads on working Priceline's system for cheap hotels, but how does better bidding come into the mix? Thanks for any help? Detailed response is requested :)
