$42 per nite plus $5/nite bonus money. Total $103. Tried for 4* up to $55+$5(bonus) in both Airport South and West zones but rejected. Have stayed there before. Nice place. Looking forward to it.
I started bidding for a *4 in either Tampa Airport South-Westshore or Tampa Airport West(Rocky Point Area). Did not have any luck from $48-60 with free rebids jumping $2 each bid. Did the same for *3.5 in Westshore area. At $52 got a counter offer of $67. Kept bidding and got the Sheraton Suites at $60 for 3/8-15 two rooms. I'm very happy with that and anxious to see how the rooms were redone. Used the PRICELINE link. Thanks for your help. Will still need to book 3/16-18 but will probably wait a while.
I've been hoping to stay about $60 per nite. I agree with you that the *3.5 star looks like the Sheraton Suites. I've stayed there 2-3 times and enjoyed my stay. I think it has done some remodeling since I was there last. In line with your directions I will need 1 room for 3/6-8/11 but was going to take care of 3/8-15 first since 3/6-8are a little more flexible. I will probably take a shot with Priceline and check back. Thanks
I do use the link at the upper right. It does make the bidding go a little easier! Often times with HOTWIRE I get 2-3 emails a day and I have to admit I just go from there -- but I will change that.
Looking for 2 rooms 3/8-15. in Tampa Westshore. A 3* came up at $59 with the following: Suite Oceanfront Shuttle Pool High Speed Internet Kitchenette Any ideas?
Well it looks like toiletbowl may have just answered my question in this Hotwire Baltimore Inner Harbor thread. THANKS. If i book i will post the outcome.
Tried bidding on PRICELINE for *4, *3.5 and *3. Went up to $52 at each level and was rejected. Had counter offers at $64-$74 but those were all higher than a *3 with Hotwire at $59(total $74 with taxes/fees). With BetterBidding's info it looked like the Radisson. That's what is was. I goofed and put the hotel in my name instead of my wife. Called the hotel to correct that and they(Corey) was very accomodating. Also asked for 2 beds. My wife said she loved the room--- 11th floor with great view. Used BB PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links for all bids. Thanks
3* Tampa (Airport TPA-Westshore)-3/7-9/10. Bid $40 for *4 and *3.5 and was rejected. Bid $40 for *3 and got the Hyatt Place Westshore. Total $97.90 for 2 nites. Have stayed there before and was very pleased with the room, location and amenities.
Tried bidding 4*. Started at $44/nite for 3 rooms for 3/6-16/10. Did $2 increments up to $60 with free rebids. Rejected but received a +17$ counter at $56. Went to 3.5* and did the same thing. Accepted for Tampa Westshore Marriott at $58/nite. Haven't stayed there before. Thought I would get the Sheraton Suites or the Quorum. I did use the PRICELINE link. It actually makes the bidding easier.
I ended up doing PRICELINE and got the 4*Hyatt Regency DT for $78 per day. Started at $52 and increased free bids by 2$ over about 3 days. Would have been happy with NMA or Loop areas.
It seemed to me that Westshore and Tampa South were two different areas on Hotwire. Do you know if it was one or the other? I have been looking at Tampa for March 2010 and the hotel you describe has come up but I have not been looking at South Tampa. I agree. I liked the Hyatt Place Thanks Jostty
Looking at 10/1-5 for downtown Chicago. 2 rooms. Magnificent Mile Streeterville came up at $109 with: Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Hi Speed Laundry Business center Any Thoughts?
All this time I never new that was there. The North Clearwater Oldsmar*3.5 should be as follows: Resort Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Tennis Spa I missed the spa.
Looking at Hotwire: 3/8-3//11. Clearwater Beach 3*: Near Beach Oceanfront Smoke free Pool Restaurant Laundry Hi=Speed Also North Clearwater Oldsmar*3.5 Resort Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Tennis
Used the links. Decided to try PRICELINE instead. Bid $55 for *3.5 for 2 rooms 3/11-17/09. Was offered rooms for $15 more but declined. Bid $60 - $62 - $64 with freebids and was successful at $64 for a total of about $880 w/fees and taxes at the Sheraton Suites. Stayed there last year and was very happy with the accomodations. Would have spent $250 more with the Quorum at Hotwire. Both in the same area. Thank you for your help. Did I put this in the right place or should I have started a new topic?
