For dates 5/16 thru 5/18, am curious what the 3 star, 3.5 star and 4 star hotel Express Deal hotels might be?
The 3 star ($68/night - Cerillos Road Area hotel) is a Guest favorite, Guest Rating 8+, Has Indoor/Outdoor pool, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Free Parking, Free Internet, Business Center
The 3.5 star ($88/night - Santa Fe Plaza and Vicinity Area Hotel) has Guest Rating 8+, Has Indoor/Outdoor pool, Pets Allowed, Fitness Center
The 4 star ($105/night - Santa Fe Plaza and Vicinity Area Hotel) has Guest Rating 7+, Has Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Fitness Center
7/2/11-7/3/11.
Also, please drop the -Yakima and redundant (Wenatchee) in the thread title I failed to remove when formatting off of someone else's.
Was only interested in a 3 star in Wenatchee only (staying in Ellensburg or Yakima not an option). On 6/16 tried $43 - rejected. 6/18 $43 - rejected. 6/20 $43 - rejected. On 6/21 $44 - rejected. Today up'd it to $48, accepted first time.
I used BetterBidding's PRICELINE link for all bidding.
Tried $59 and $62 a couple or more times several weeks (as much as 8 initially, then 7, 6) ahead of the reservation, all rejected.
Extra surprised because, then, it was for 3 rooms.
Figured the hotels needed to be closer to the actual date before they offered inventory to Priceline; apparently correct.
$59 accepted first time on May 11th, 10 days prior to arrival.
Given posts from the past year, would've tried $40 or higher first, but we'll take the discount.
One note: No rooms with dual queen beds evidently. All dual bed rooms have double beds. Minor drag, but we'll take it!
After referencing this forum, went with 4* in Priceline zone 6 O'Hair Airport.
Won on first try. $41 + $13.45 taxes and fees = $54.45
Hope my wife can find decent parking or moderate $ valet.
Thanks!
3* at 45/nt rejected, 2.5* at 33/nt rejected.
3* at 50/nt rejected & then also 60/nt rejected.
Saw 2.5* median price ($132) not much different from 3* ($139) so up'd to $53: successful. Total w/ tax & fees $64.75.
In hindsight, that was probably too much.
Web price $85 or $99.
FYI I had both my wife and I bid separately in order to test different bids simultaneously.
Used BetterBidding.com's PRICELINE links to start purchase.
Hey Buckaroo Banzai SysOp: "Just remember, no matter where you go...
Offer on 12/28 of $55/nt initial offer rejected.
$70/nt on 12/28 using spouse info accepted at Ambassador.
Priceline $28.98 taxes & fees, totals $168.98 for 2 nights.
Although 4*, Ambassador doesn't have pool or hot tub, so I was hoping room upgrade to king w/ whirlpool would be reasonable and it was!
For additional $40/nt, got the K w/ whirlpool (regularly a $209/nt room). It probably helped that this is off-season.
