  1. I can't figure out how to post a winning bid since I've never done it before. I'll do so here in hopes it will get posted by the administrator. I looked on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins for April 10th weekend in San Francisco and saw that the Hotel Nikko was won at a bid of $70.00 a night. I wanted to get something as quickly as possible for the nights of April 4th and 5th. I selected 4* accomodations in Union Hill West hoping for Hotel Nikko. I bid $75.00 a night and got the Hilton San Francisco on the first try. Thanks for your website!
  2. Been reading many posts and still don't have a good feel for when to bid. Hoping someone can help. I'm taking my 19 year old daughter to Manhattan September 14th to the 17th, 2008. We are planning on seeing a show and doing some shopping. I have a reservation at the Marriot East Manhattan for $980 for the 3 nights. I have seen several winning bids over different time slots at the Westin for ridiculously low dollars ( like $39.00 per night? ). While I'm not holding out hopes of a screaming deal like that, I am hoping to cash in on a cheaper room rate so that we might actually be able to afford to extend our trip a little since the airfare is paid for. Ideally, I'd like a 4* hotel for around $150 a night. Is this possible? Does anyone have any history of bids in this ballpark? If so, when is the optimum time to start bidding for the best price? Any advice is appreciated! Kent :)
