White House - Capitol Hill 3* - Four Points Amenities: Pool Restaurant, Laundry $94 for 5/30-5/31/09 Exactly what I expected, perfect location and price point for me. Used the HOTWIRE links here. Thanks!

Started out looking for 4* $45 rejected: Downtown $50 rejected: Downtown + Brooks $55 rejected: Downtown + East $60 rejected: Downtown + East + Brooks $65 rejected: Downtown + North $70 rejected: Downtown + North + Brooks $75 rejected: Downtown + Southwest $80 rejected: Downtown + Southwest + Brooks Didn't want to go any higher than $100 inclusive ($80 made it exactly $100 with taxes & fees) so I dropped down to 3*: $45 rejected: Downtown $50 accepted: Downtown + Brooks @ Hyatt Regency Downtown. Pretty happy with the price; lowest rate on their website is $179. Guess I should've inched up from 45 instead of jumping straight to 50, but I think I'll live. :) Thanks!

Thanks, I will try this in a bit. Should I be including the 4* zone in these bids as well or just leave them out entirely?

My max bid would be 90 or so as it seems that Hotwire has a 3* Theatre (likely Park Plaza?) for $96 for those dates. Having stayed at the Park Plaza, I'd rather try for the 3 and 4 in the Copley area. My goal would be the least expensive 3 or better for those dates, correct. Splitting isn't out of the question, particularly if I can stay in the Copley area. Obviously would prefer not to, but willing to try. Thanks for your help!

Hi, I'm trying to get a last-minute hotel for my trip 12/5-12/9. Looking for 3 or 4-star in the Copley area. I'd really prefer to stay in Copley, but if necessary would consider the Downtown area as well. Any help or suggestions, please? Brand new to this.
