Just FYI for other bidders all of the hotels on Bath Rd (the majority in the area) can be reached by free public transit. By the time it is all done I could have book at one of these hotels in a non-opaque booking and actually paid less. The frustration comes from the fact that all hotels can be reached by the Hoppa bus service (which is not a shuttle in my opinion). I chose to book because this one listed "airport shuttle" as an amenity while most other Heathrow hotels shown did not.

Sadly disappointed in this one. Should have guessed that the price was too good to be true. Booked on hotwire to ensure getting an airport shuttle as my only must have - while possibly correct I feel misled. The advertised shuttle is actually a bus service that stops at multiple hotels and costs $ 6 pp with 4 people it will double the cost of the stay to get to and from the hotel. Crazy price for London so decided to have a stopover for the weekend. Not the hotel I was expecting. Express deal for $ 54 so went a bit lower. Tried to extend the stay before and after but was turned down. Happy for what I got. Good ratings and $ 144 / night direct. Used the PRICELINE link.

Last minute bid. Couldn't get a 4* up to $ 100 and saw a 2.5* on express deals for $ 95. Based on a 10% coupon I thought I would start at $80 and won on the first bid. Likely could have started lower. In any case a decent win $ 149 direct. Nicer than the 4* Hyatt Regency I stayed at around the corner last night. Used the PRICELINE link.

Extended my stay to Toronto so decided to go downtown and pleased with the win for what seemed to be a busy day. Express deal was $ 105 (so $ 95 with 10% off coupon code). Started bidding at $ 83. An express deals booking. I bid all week for the 18 - 21 with no luck up to $ 207 for the 3 nights in CPS, Times Square and MTE and W.
