I started bidding $52 and only 3 star. On my second bid I added South Portland and 2.5 star. The reviews look good for this hotel.

We just wanted to find a nice place to stay downtown one night as we will be passing through. $61 for a 4* sounded pretty good.

If you book on priceline, you probably inadvertently signed up for a $9.00 a month "service" called Reservation rewards. This happened on my husband's credit card, and also on mine. Check your credit card, and call the 800 number to cancel, and if you figure out a way to get refunded all that money, please let me know.

Yes, it was my first bid because THANKFULLY I noticed "fly up front's" bid on June 6 was also $37.00.
