Hotwire has a 4-star in Costa Mesa/Orange County Airport/Irvine area for $64 + $13.35 = $77.35 for 1 nite Jan. 7-8, '09. Amenities listed are : shuttle, fitness center, restaurant, business center, high-speed internet access. The list of amenities seem to match either the Westin South Coast Plaza or Hilton Costa Mesa. Can you please help identify? Thanks!

I looked into the link you sent me but the best rate (smoking room) is $122.85 while I can get a better rate at $89 for Best Western Oceanbeach Hotels & Suites. Just thought I'd let you know. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it might be the Best Western Ocean Beach Hotel but wouldn't risk getting Days Inn. I'm not seeing any good deals on HOTWIRE for the dates I'm travelling. I will book directly from the hotel for less than $30 extra and at least know what I'm getting.

We booked the 3* LBV and got Sheraton Safari Hotel Lake Buena Vista as you guessed :) Rate for 1nite 12/8-9 '07 is $59 + $13.45 taxes/fees totalling $72.45 Thanks, appreciate the tips!

Thanks for the reply, am new to this site as well as Hotwire. I'm not sure how "discounted" the rates are on hotwire. I usually stay at 3* hotels. I asked for help ID'ing the "Best Value" hotels I found on hotwire 'coz we'd be as happy with a decent 2.5* or a 4* if it's worth the extra dollars.
