  1. Drat ---first bid accepted at $120 ---should have lowballed. That $120 point was the first vaule in which the red "low likelihood of acceptance" bar went away. Anyway --should work out just fine for my 1 night stay. Used PRICELINE link above to purchase. Need to do another bid for central Zurich the following saturday, the 14th ....will start lower and let you know. :)
  2. After failing on numerous 5* bids on PRICELINE for a 5* in Munch South (which was expected to be the Le Meridien) @ $110, $120, $130, $140, and $150 I finally purchased via the advertised HOTWIRE price Linked from HOTWIRE tab on betterbidding. As always, thank you for all your help. Betterbidding.com is rapidily becoming part of my standard procedure of travel hotel hunting. :)
  3. I have been good about using the links on Betterbidding.com when purchasing via Priceline and Hotwire. However, I will often browse both of those sites (and others) numerous times when contemplating travel before actually committing to the bid process. Does it help betterbidding.com as a site for me to link out every time I visit priceline or hotwire? Or is the structure such that the site benefits only when actual bids/ purchases are made? thanks, dergon
