  1. One night saturday stay. Actually came out to $39, since Priceline had a $40 off coupon. Saw the previous post and wanted this hotel, so bid the same amount. Thanks!
  2. first bid on a hotel at $60 accepted in New Haven for this thursday Of note, the parking at this hotel is $15 a night, which isn't included in the priceline fee calculation, so this total comes out to more like $100, less hot of a deal, but not terrible. Wish I could exclude hotels with additional parking fees from priceline name your own price, $15 is nothing to sneeze at. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $60.00 Subtotal: $60.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.15 Total Charges*: $75.15
  3. Bid $40 for 1.5* in Dover, bid $45 for 2* in Dover, added Portsmouth and won at $50. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $50.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $50.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $11.92 (USD) Total Room Cost: $61.92 (USD) Decent room for a decent stay, very clean. Fridge and microwave nice bonus. friendly staff. Great free breakfast. Located near every other hotel in the area it seemed, convenient to 95.
  4. Did 2 bookings Dec 30-31, and Jan 1st. Picked a price $65 which was roughly half of the price on the site. I figured they would accept since it was last minute trip plan. Since it was the only 3* in the area it was a safe bet on the rebook (with 1 less room in my party). Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 3 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $390.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $53.43 (USD) Total Room Cost: $443.43 (USD) Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $130.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $22.26 (USD) Total Room Cost: $152.26 (USD) Review follows: fancy older hotel in good location, nice big rooms, nice amenities. Loved the indoor pool area during a winter blast during the stay. Some families there liked the pool because you can get a room with a balcony that walks out or faces the pool so they can keep track of their kids. I got a room with a balcony on the outside which was nice because you cannot smoke in the hotel. Not a huge fan of the bathtubs with the low shower heads. The sleep number beds make sense in hotels because they are flexible for a variety of travelers, its really a no brainer, but an inflatable will never be as nice as a good inner spring or temperpedic mattress. The bar and restaurant were desolate and the waitstaff just seemed upset that I was there.
  5. I did notice the upgrade from what it was previously listed on the site. Do you know why priceline would do that? What are * ratings based on anyway? Was there a renovation perhaps?
  6. Congratulations, you got your price of $60 for a 3-star hotel room 1 room 1 night bid $60 first time on 3* in the cherry hill (NJ) area of Philadelphia region accepted. Someone also has posted on tripadvisor getting the same rate. Looking forward to it, very convenient to a wedding I am attending around Camden NJ. Rated decently well for the area, small rooms but good service basically. Aaron
