  6. totally bummed about this win. kept using re-bids and accidently selected a place with resorts, was aiming for 4star to avoid this place...does not seem like a resort and that PRICELINE should list it as one. $16 resort fee seems excessive
  7. Have you checked HOTWIRE? they have a few, I believe the downtown hilton for $275 (which if you bid on PRICELINE, I have a hunch you may get much cheaper..no guaranttees though) and a $263 4 star in Central Park
  8. Kenny, I got the Marriott East Dec 5-7 3.5 star for $250, but i think you may get it a few dollars cheaper
  9. SUCCESS!! Marriott East Side 3.5 star - $250 I iniatially started bidding a month ago for 4stars, every day $200 up to $325 in zones, midtown east, west, times square and empire state. No bites. While last year I won the hotel the day before, I was getting nervous and stepped down to 3.5 star. Today started at $200 times square, added MTW $225 added MTE $250. Someone might win this a little cheaper, but I feel I still got a great deal as the cheapest room on the hotel website is $560. I've won this hotel a few years back, while the rooms are small its a great location. Used betterbidding.com PRICELINE link.
