No particular budget in mind - basically trading off a Meadowlands NJ at around $60/night vs. a hopeful NY downtown for near $100-ish Tried again today: $95 MTE, then $100 MTW+MTE Very unlikely, I know but trying is free!
Looking for Manhattan hotels (MTE or MTW) for 10/26 to 10/30 4* First bid $85 rejected (MTE) 2nd bid $95 (MTE + MTW) 3rd bid $100 (MTE + MTW + TS) Will try again
Now shooting for the stopover room on the way back... $99 failed 5* Added 4* @ $85 also failed Interestingly there are apparently no Priceline NYOP hotels outside of central Sydney; only the central Sydney is selectable with Sydney airport shown but not selectable.
Just got a Radisson Whittier night. Used the PRICELINE link. Radisson.com price: $95 HOTWIRE.com price: $107 (?) Probably could have gotten lower but I'm ok with $75
Per advice from a previous review, did a Priceline price scan for 4* hotels in Baltimore (Inner Harbor) Started with $80, then added random regions for each following bid: $85 $92 $98 $106 - accepted Total cost for stay: $617.25 = $123.45 per day Very fine...
I'm looking for advice or experience on getting one of these 2 hotels; I don't have to be immediately close but increasing my chances or knowing how others did it would be nice.
Hi, I'm going for a training 2/18 - 2/22 in Baltimore. The training is being held at the Marriott Residence Inn, Inner Harbor. I see a lot of successful bids for the Marriott Waterfront/Camden Yards, but I want either the Renaissance at 202 E. Pratt or the Residence Inn at 17 Light street ideally. Any ideas? I'd be ok with some other hotel in the immediate area also (3 blocks max).
Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access. $71.67 including all taxes/fees Great price, unfortunately another sad occassion - near Rose Hills cemetary. Used betterbidding.com HOTWIRE link
Based on information from this Hotwire Los Angeles thread - got a room from 10/19 - 10/20 at this Radisson for $68. Used the betterbidding HOTWIRE link...
