I think that there is something going on a few days before in Amsterdam but I was able to get this for the weekend, although I was scared it might be another property which is inconvenient for an older person. In any case, of course I used the HOTWIRE links here. What a fright this shopping expediation was!! What is going on that the only thing coming up less than many hundred dollars. The odd but decent motels near the Marina and Lombard street were staring to look good but even those were quite inflated. So, I decided to stay near the airport. I only saved about twelve to nineteen dollars but I am looking forward to a decent rest and breakfast.

Well, the night before, the 26th of February was a nightmare. Hence I used the PRICELINE EXPRESS for a two star hotel near the airport. There must be something going on in town as I am shocked that the prices were so high and many places are sold out. I will look up what the event is. Weird. Anyway, I have not stayed at this property and the there was only a savings of 24%, so, meh. However, the location is absolutely perfect to go anywhere on a fast stupid business trip.
So, before I clicked on this, it said that the last person had gotten this property. As it is listed for about 152 Dollars, there is some savings there but not what Hotwire claims to save you, expressed in the percentage of savings off of an example price. Interesting. Many times in one day, I saw this option and would go all the way through through payment and then poof! It would disappear and send me back to the first page. Two minutes later, it is gone. An hour later it is back up, even though there are no hotels in the city because of a holiday and event weekend. I actually called up to no avail. It happened three more times and then it finally actually went through. A little bait and switch in my book. Now you see it, click on it and then you don't. Every time I used the links here of course. I would guess that I used it six times in one day. Hope that helps.
Used free rebid areas three times to get this win. With this property, it is an acceptable but not great win as the front desk does not look keenly on PRICELINE bids. Again, the HOTWIRE utility on this website not working. Thank you
Attempted to use the Hotwire feature on this website for the last two days to no avail. This win was the result of a four time effort with five dollar increments starting with 75 dollars. One post for the Ames hotel does not mention amount of won which made it difficult to guage a decent starting bid. Thank you.
As a frequent user of the links in this site, I actually appreciated reading the issues this person had with Hotwire as they have made a similar mistake on a booking I had. Users of this site, or rather this frequent user who uses the links almost weekly, I find it unfortunate that every time someone adds something to this board, that the tone from the Administrator comes off as being dictatorial. The lesson here is to be careful with zone areas and yeah, to speak up when Hotwire is simply wrong.
Wow. I did not get a four star for 70 dollars in either the Convention Center area which I prefer in the winter or in the Rittenhouse Area. Still,I am excited to be able to see a local game over the weekend. Of course I used the PRICELINE links here as usual.
