this is fantastic, i love hotwire and i think its nice that so many people stick up for them. its not that they dont have pity like everyone states its pre paid rate and non refundable. keep up the good work people!

those hidden fees are not hidden it does state on Hotwire's site under the rules and restrictions when your booking, the hotel may charge resort fees. that is up to the discretion of the hotel and its not a hidden fee.

they can't add another night for the same rate, b/c there rates change based on availability, so you would have to make a new booking thru Hotwire or the hotel, but if you do it thru hotwire it may be a different hotel, you would have to match up the same area, star rating, and amenities, and then you may be able to get into the same hotel but not guaranteed until its booked, also what do you mean it did now show up in hotwire listing? they dont show the names of the hotels anyways?

That just shows they are constantly updating their star rating, and reading customer feed back, and at least notified you of the situation and offered you re-accommodations, and if you want to book another hotel, then it would cost more, so that's better than them not saying anything at all and you may not have even noticed a difference.
