Perfectly happy with Residence Inn as I like their product. I am sure I could have paid $90 for a 4* but why bother. It will be myself and 5 yr old daughter in one of the rooms. This way i should get a bedroom to myself. of note, renovations in hotel during stay as noted on marriott.com

La Quinta site doesn't mention a pool but Orbitz does.

I figured the 2.5* was La Quinta. Hotwire shows pool but i don't see it mentioned on the hotels website.

Worked in LIC for a while. Not any place I'd want to spend evenings in.
