  1. Love the Crowne Plaza in Alexandria!! It's very close to DCA (great shuttle service) in a quaint neighborhood w/ a Trader Joe's in walking distance. Just booked it through Hotwire for $69 a night, August 22-26th. Yay me!!! And thanks betterbidding! Their pool must be out of commission because the entry for this hotel on the pinned list has Pool listed but right now it's not showing (otherwise same). Right now it's coming up as 3.5* with Shuttle, Fitness, Restaurant, High Speed, Tennis.
  2. Just booked 3.5* Crowne Plaza Hotel at LAX for $54 for 4/12/10. This is not the newest or nicest place, but WELL worth it at this price. Amenities listed were: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Laundry
  3. They were *Bed Choice* (highlighted in blue), Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business Incidentally this hotel always offers a bed choice when available... they all do. lolz
  4. All details matched the pinned list under Mass--Boston Back Bay Copley--3 1/2 Star but there was a new slightly larger blue icon listed which was marked "bed choice." (Whoopdee doo! LOL) Okay, so, my dates were 3/28-4/1/10. Really not bad at all for springtime and somewhat short notice! Thanks again for your help guys! :) I always come here to use your HOTWIRE link even when I don't have time to post my results.
  5. Really? That sounds awful. I've stayed in both towers there and I believe the North tower is the shabbier of the two. Although I have noticed a decline in the presentation (i.e. drinking glasses replaced with plastic-wrapped plastic cups!) I have never had such a bad experience as you described.
  6. Thanks! I didn't ever find out what hotel this was because I chose to go another route for Hotel booking.
  7. Thanks! I don't like the Omni Parker House because of the location (and the ghosts! LOL) but I will look into the Onyx.
  8. Yes, there appears to be a good deal on the Sheraton Copley for that stay $135... The only difference from the pinned list is that NonSmoking is listed as an additional amenity. Probably what I'll end up going with, but I was really curious about this 4* one since I couldn't place it. Thanks and I appreciate your input very much. :)
  9. Back Bay - Copley 4 * fitness, restaurant, hi speed, business customer favorite I can't find a match for this on the pinned list. Any input? Thanks!!
  10. Just booked 4* Hilton Washington and Towers for $101 per night from 9/27-10/2/2008 Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business As compared to Pinned Hotwire Hotel List for Washington DC: There was no Customer Favorite listed (does Hotwire even do this anymore? Haven't seen it in a while) and Tennis was not listed, (though according to the list it sometimes is) and therefore the amenities listed were same as Hotel Palomar -- which would have been fine with me because both hotels are great! Thanks for this site!! It has been very useful.
  11. 4* (Back Bay-Copley) with Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access. On Hotwire right now for $209 per night from 11/26-11/30 says Best Value. Anybody know anything about this one? I couldn't find that combination on the list.
  12. Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pools, Restaruant, Business, High Speed Internet, Spa This is the Radisson, I just booked for $89 from 10/8-13. I was thrown off by the "spa" icon as well, because when you go to the LAX Radisson website they don't mention having a spa, whereas the Westin LAX website does. (Weird.) Very confusing, but yes, this booking was the Radisson.
