Yep, there is a Cardinals/Cubs series 7/20 - 7/22. Downtown rates are crazy. The week before and after Priceline rates for 4* downtown return to $45 - $52.

The Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, I believe, is listed as a 3* hotel. I think it is underrated--beautiful facility. And definitely superior to the Hampton Inn--better location, facility and close to town (boston is just across the bridge!) Keep in mind that several high school graduations are around your dates, and many folks will be coming to town to see their relatives (nieces, nephews, grandchildren) graduate. While I don't want to dissuade you from your preferences, I would suggest that you look at the 3* hotel in Cambridge, at least I know the Hyatt is a very nice hotel. Good luck in your search.
