  1. Amenities included Complementary Breakfast, Pool, Business Center, Laundry, Internet. These are the same as the La Quinta (which I was expecting to get). The Baymont doesn't look as nice as the La Quinta, but I guess thats the luck of the draw. Used HOTWIRE link.
  2. I was looking for a room for a couple nights after a cruise. I really wanted something in the French Quarter since we spent almost all of our time there last time we were in Nawlens. Hotwire had a 3* for $59 a night but wasn't too excited about the possibilities. Started out at $50 for a 4* got rejected, added 3.5* and was rejected, then added 3* and was accepted. I honestly wasn't expecting any of them to be accepted since its so far away. The hotel has received great reviews and is right on Bourbon Street. Used the PRICELINE link.
  3. Yes, you are correct. Golf and Tennis are included. I overlooked the "See all amentities" area.
  4. Ameitites: Resort, Beachfront, Gym, Restaurants, Pools, Business, Internet, Laundry Only downside I could find was $9 a day parking fee. Hotel website was $155+ a night.
  5. Started bidding at $52 and used free rebids in $3 increments. Ran out of rebids at $67 and added French Quarter (taking the chance of getting somthing in the F.Q.) and bid $70 which was accepted. Final price with taxes is below. Rate on their website is $209 a night for those two nights. Your Offer Price: $70.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $140.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $30.86 Total Charges*: $170.86
  6. Total was $56 + $15.53 tax = $71.53. Hilton website was $149.
  7. Got accetpted on first bid. Great location for my needs and you can't beat the price. Price on their website is $77 a night. Total with tax/fees was $121 for four nights.
  8. 2.5* Orlando (WDW) Rejected $40 2/20-24 Started bidding at $25 and used rebids up to $40 and nothing.
  9. 3* Orlando (WDW) Rejected $47 2/20-24 Started bidding at $32 and went up to $47 with free rebids and got rejected each time.
  10. The amenities are a little different, but I booked the "best value" hotel in the same area with the resort fee disclaimer and got the Best Western Lakeside. It was an excellent value and recommended for a decent place with a great price. Hope this helps. Oh yea, that was back in December.
  11. Amenities include Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Laundary. Seems to have changed from past posts since it doesn't include the internet or business facilities. I was worried that it may be the Ramada but what convinced me was the resort fee. Ramada doesn't have a resort fee but BW Lakeside did so that may help out someone in the future. Rates on Expedia were $51, and $69 respectively so I was pretty happy with $72 total for the two nights. I also thought there was a slight chance that it could be Seralago because the retail rate was 50.15 which was exactly the same Expedia had for it, but that theory is out the window.
