  1. Was having problems getting 6 nights via Hotwire or Priceline (8/14 - 8/20) for anything reasonable so I thought I would check out lastminutetravel.com. Some advice - make sure the hotel is "AVAILABLE" and not "ON REQUEST". We originally bid on what I was positive was the Westin St. Francis, but had to wait 2 days or so to find out it was sold out or not available.   2. It seems people have been getting decent deals for NYC on Hotwire and Priceline, but for these dates the prices are outrageous. I'm thinking about only staying one night in NYC and the rest in NJ. There are two 3.5* boutiques in NYC. The one is midtown south is fitness, business and complimentary breakfast. The other is midtown east and has fitness business and high speed internet. Any ideas to what they are? I looked on the hotel list, but saw no 3.5* with these descriptions.
