Looking at a 4-star hotel on Hotwire for $186 (June 19 -20). Amenities are: fitness center, pool, restaurant. business center, laundry, and spa services. Any ideas?
Uggghhh....it's the Hotel St. Regis. It doesn't get good reviews and I believe Priceline lists it as 2* while Hotwire has it as 3*. I had a bad feeling about it but I was in kind of a jam. Ah well. I'll try to remember to post a review after I get back.
It's a little after the fact but I bid on separate nights. Got the Intercontinental for $142 on Friday and the Chicago City Centre Hotel & Sports Club for $205 on Saturday.
Any idea what this one might be? Check-in: Oct. 20 Check-out: Oct. 21 Can't remember all the amenities but describes it as a boutique hotel with at least one restaurant. Exercise room and internet, but both may be subject to charges.
Any tips? I've tried Priceline from 2.5 to 4 stars using different dates up to around $200 but no luck. I saw someone got lucky yesterday with $160 at the Swissotel. This is my first time trying Priceline.
